Kura Thai was very good! It definitely had a different type of Thai vibe, I saw online they have an Asian influence in their... cuisine. It was very good and very flavorful. We got a variety of dishes to try a lot of different items on the menu. Mycritiques - I got the BBQ steak and the majority of pieces were extremely fatty and inedible. The pieces that were were rare, but they did not ask how I wanted the steak cooked. The chicken satay skewer was also barely cooked. The soup was flavorful, but did not have the vinegary kick from lime that Tom Kha typically has. The beef fried rice was absolutely delicious and wasthe best thing we tried. The sweet sticky rice was absolutely delicious. The best I've ever had honestly!! It was warm, perfectly sweet and the rice was cooked perfectly. Read more

I got red curry with extra chicken delivered via door dash through this restaurant to my hotel for when I arrived. Seriously... delish. Let's break this photo down for you: Do you see that container? It's filled to the BRIM. No skimping. Back in the bayarea of California where I'm at, this would be half full and cost twice as much. It was 1/2 veggies and I loved the use ofzucchini which is very in season. Typically this recipe uses eggplant which I'm not a huge fan of, but this substitute wasamazing! Also: loved the flavors. Great creaminess from the coconut milk and subtle heat. Perfectly cooked brown rice. 110%saving this as my go-to for food delivery in SLC. Thank you! Read more

Krua Thai doesn't show up in any of my "where to eat vegan" sources, but I gave it a try and am so glad I did. The menu has... great pictures along with designations showing dishes they can make vegan, vegetarian, or gluten free. Takes out all theguesswork. I love Thai, but have low spice heat tolerance, so I asked if they could make the drunken noodles mild, and they saidsure. Wow. They were so good! I get hungry now just thinking about them and am already planning on another visit next time I'min town! Read more

Great set-up with a gigantic transformer bubblebee right at front. 1) savory chicken wings ( Thai style tamarind sauce based... with fried onions on top ) tastes really good! You have to try this out! 2) crying Tiger( basically a marinated steak servedwith a side of salad and spicy and ranch dressing ) this is a good dish too don't forget to ask for Thai tea haha it goes wellwith it The portion here is huge so, make sure you prepare to share your dish And I will definitely come back to try moredishes Well-done Read more

It was good, not great. I ordered yellow curry with plain chicken and I wish the server would have asked if I wanted it spicy, I... like it to be medium but it was a bit bland with far too many potatoes and not enough other vegetables, even though I paid forextra veggies. We also ordered spring rolls and they were good but certainly didn’t look at all like the photos on-line. Themassaman curry and the pineapple curry were delicious but again, not med. or hot and the server didn’t ask. The brown rice wasphenomenal, easily the best brown rice I’ve eaten. Very substantial and large portions. We were surprised at the unexpectedextras, deep fried roll and rangoon. Thoughtful but far too much oil. Service was good, kept our water glasses full the wholetime. The place had a real fun, funky decor including a lit Christmas tree in back, deer antler light fixtures, animal skullsand more. Paid parking in front or 2 hour free one block east. We’d go again just not 5 star. Read more

Great downtown spot for traditional Thai dishes. I ordered takeout off Grubhub. By the end of the estimated time my order was to... be ready, it still showed that it was being made. I went to the restaurant and it was ready and clearly had been for some time.I’ve run into this a lot with Grubhub orders, where the restaurant never marks an order as ready. Prices were fair, the menuhas all the Thai items you’d expect, and the staff were really nice. I ordered pad se ew, which I typically use as mybenchmark for the quality of Thai restaurants. I ordered spicier than I normally do, but the flavor was still great. Thebroccoli was ever so slightly undercooked. I also found the addition of jalapeños offputting. Otherwise it was delicious. Thefood stayed warm for a while as I took it back to work. Read more

Great restaurant, great Thai food. Their menu had pictures of all the dishes and that made it very difficult to decide. The... Bumblebee wings in the honey sauce were particular good. I got the Masaman curry, not spicy very good. The sticky rice desertwas really good as well, my stomach thanks and hates me for it. So much good food. Overall great atmosphere. The staff were verynice. I loved the decor inside. Read more

Thai fusion restaurant and delicious food. Tom Yam is not that authentic tho, it’s more like coconut mixed with lime soup... rather than actual Tom Yam soup you can get in Thailand. But all the food are nice. Mango sticky rice usually a go-to desert forThai restaurant but here you can get other flavors like Strawberry. Must try! Read more
