We loved our dinner at Kimi’s. We went there on a Thursday night and they were able to seat us and offered us the bar or the... dining room. Great decor with high ceilings, dark walls, stylish seating and some funky art to complement it all. They also havea beautiful outdoor space to eat with misters for the heat. We chose the dining room and had a cute corner booth/banquette witha semicircle double seat and a view across the whole dining room. Our server Vadym was attentive and answered our questionsabout the dishes we were thinking about. We started with a glass of wine and some appetizers including the golden beet salad-excellent- and the smoog- a Norwegian dish of basically a crab salad server with toasted sourdough. We also had a Caesar salad.I found that to be over dressed and the lettuce slightly less crisp than I would like. For dinner I chose the salmon dish whichthey cooked more than I asked them to (I asked for medium rare) which wasn’t the worst because it was high-quality fish -but Ifound the use of the sauce a little heavy handed. Meaning there could’ve been half of it there and it still would’ve tastedreally good.
