Reviews for Java Jo's in Salt Lake City, UT
Today I stopped at Java Joes, I usually never buy coffee. I ordered a salted caramel Mocha and asked if I could have the... coffee with milk and sugar. The man taking my order rolled his eyes and explained to me in a very condescending manner that itcomes with milk and sugar in it since it’s a lattee. I replied that I don’t buy coffee often he continued to be rude . Icouldn’t believe how rude he was to me just because I was new to ordering coffee and didn’t realize I didn’t need to askfor milk and sugar. I left feeling upset about his unnecessary response. I can understand standing out in the cold taking orderswould be very hard. That being said, I don’t expect perfect costumer service…. But I would like to feel comfortable askingquestions and making mistakes as a new to ordering coffee. A knowledgeable deficit does not constitute disrespectful treatment. The coffee was very tasty though! 5 stars on the taste ! Read more
My favorite coffee shop in SLC. They have great blends and great flavors in their coffee. The only thing better is the service... from the Baristas! Overall this coffee shop can be the \"great start\" you need to your morning! Read more
Awesome little neighborhood coffee booth. Great coffee, the staff is excellent, always happy and friendly. They offer a doggy... treat if they see your pooch in the car. Read more
I have been stopping by their locations for many years, they have always been nice and if the coffee was not good they have... always made it right on my next visit. I am usually a mile away before I notice if there was a problem or I’m sure they wouldfix it right then.\n\nIt’s cool to see the owners working most mornings taking care of their clients. This is a good businessto do business with. They do care about you the customer and their employees.\n\nPlease like and subscribe for more honestreviews of stuff. Read more
The coffee is great, don\'t get me wrong. It\'s honestly my favorite in town. The people who work there are miserable to... interact with. Today, for the first time (after going to this location every single day for 3 consecutive weeks) I politelydeclined their offer to add a tip. The girl rolled her eyes, let out a big exhale, and stormed off without saying a word to me.As someone in medical school, I can\'t afford to add a 2 dollar tip to my 3 dollar americano every morning. There was once atime where tips were voluntary and purely given when you experience great customer service. I challenge you (the customer) toorder coffee at this location and POLITELY decline their offer to add a tip and see how you are treated. Truth be told, thisinteraction was enough to make me realize I should just invest in my own coffee pot and skip Java Jo\'s altogether. Read more

What a fun a great experience at Java Joe\'s. I was super cute and great on a cool, rainy, summer day. I got the London fog with... the lavender and my partner got a latte. It was tasty and warm. Loved the experience on this trip. Read more
Java Jo\'s is hands down my favorite coffee spot in Salt Lake. The staff are all friendly and the coffee excellent (especially... the Iced Mocha with three shots and a half pump of mocha!) Reading some of the negative reviews is hilarious, people complainingthat they were running late to work and had to wait in line?!? That\'s on you the customer for having poor time management. Thecomplaints about being asked if you would like to leave a tip?! Big deal, either accept or decline and if being asked if youwould like to leave a tip causes you \"anxiety\", you have other more serious problems. To sum it up, Java Jo\'s is amazing andmaybe whiners should learn to make coffee at home. Read more
