Reviews for Italian Graffiti in Salt Lake City, UT
The decor of this place is amazing. You can tell every little detail was considered. From the trees in the middle of the dining... area to the Gatsby-style bar to the woodwork everywhere. A+ ambiance.\n\nThe food is some quality Italian food. It didn\'t comeout oily and greasy like most Italian places do. The pasta was fresh, light, and tasted fantastic. We paired some of our pastadishes with the Bavette steak which tasted excellent with the mushrooms on it.\n\nFor cocktails, we got The Crown which had areally fun smoke bubble on top. Take out your camera for that one.\n\nA fantastic new spot for a classy date night. A greataddition to the Gateway mall. Read more
The portions aren?t as big as similar style Italian restaurants. For the prices this was a bit weak. The beet salad was $18 and... you received one handful of beets.\n\nNO REFILLS ON FOUNTAIN DRINKS. $4 per small soda with ice. The staff do not advice you ofno refills ahead of time. This is strange for Utah and a first I?ve seen here.\n\nHowever the food tasted great. The spicyrigatoni was awesome, a perfect copy of Carbone?s spicy rigatoni from the Vegas or NYC locations. Excellent. Read more
Amazing new restaurant at the Gateway. Delicious dishes, friendly service and a unique vibe like nothing I?ve seen in Utah.... We?ve been twice and tried a lot of dishes. All their pastas are superb, burrata, clams, meatballs and beets apps were allflavorful, scallops were delicious and dessert is a must. A great experience overall. Read more
Italian Graffiti offered a memorable and delicious experience.\n\nFirst, location is good. It?s in the gateway so lots of areas... to park and walk after a full meal.\n\nOur service was top notch! Johnny was our waiter and he was accompanied by Alexis, whotogether created a stellar service experience. They had familiarity of the menu which was great when asking for recommendationsand they were always on top of our needs whilst eating.\n\nThe ambiance of the restaurant makes it an ideal place for a datenight or a girls night! Plenty of seating for large groups or dinner for 2.\n\nWe ordered drinks, appetizers, pasta, an entreedish and dessert and everything was flavorful and fresh.\n\nThere are bread carts that rotate around for you to order breadservice and a dessert cart filled with scrumptious cakes. Tarryn provided a detailed breakdown of each option, she was alsopatient with my picture taking so I super appreciated that! ????\n\nI will say that it is pricey but also comparable to otherItalian restaurants in the area.\n\nOverall, I would recommend in reserving a table! I would say there are quite a few places inthe valley that offer an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere but fall short on providing a great dining experience. ItalianGraffiti has managed to provide both both and then some! Read more
The interior design of this restaurant has got to be my favorite in the valley, it\'s honestly jaw dropping. The food was... definitely right in line with the atmosphere as well, there was not a single dish that we tried that wasn\'t a hit. Austin wasour server, was super knowledgeable, and did an excellent job to help to make the experience fantastic. I strongly recommend the1up cocktail, and the eggplant parm was fantastic as well! Fabulous. Delicious food with complex flavors, and a lot of compelling choices on the menu. We enjoyed our drinks also. Was not... a big fan of decor and atmosphere, and dessert variety was not very wide. Great bread too, but they charge extra for the breadservice. Read more
I was apprehensive when I ordered the eggplant parmesan. I was told the preparation was not traditional. My palate exploded... on the first taste . It has always been my favorite Italian dish . I\'ve had it at so many incredible restaurants back homein upstate NY, but this by far was the best. We also enjoyed a squash ravioli with a balsamic reduction sauce. The reductionsauce was incredible. Though, the pasta was just a tad undercooked, in my opinion . The serving process does need refining, but considering the restaurant has only been open for two nights, it is somewhat understandable. The bosses were veryapproachable when it came to sharing our views and suggestions. Honestly! We need this restaurant. The chef is incredible! Read more
