"From Scratch" was decent, but not great. I expected better food and was left pretty disappointed. I ordered the tri tip... sandwich. The meat was a bit tough and there wasn't much of it on the sandwich. Also, it came with a "tomato jam" that entirelyoverpowered the flavor. My wife ordered the Beef Stroganoff and, to be completely honest, it was some of the worst stroganoffwe've ever had. The sauce was watery and the noodles were bland. All in all, it was a poor dining experience. We will likelygive it another shot in the future on the hope that it was just a bad night or a new cook or something. Read more

I had someone recently recommend this place. So I saved it for my birthday! The food was very good and filled with flavor. I got... the bistro gan off and it was so tasty. I?ll be back for that, but I do want to mention that the experience was very good. I wasjust so impressed with the short staff. They had 2 servers and a guest service person they were all over the place keeping upwith all the customers. It was a busy night. I received the wrong beer I mentioned this to my server and he gave me two optionsto remove the different or have another beer I had already had some from a brewery before dinner so I requested the differenceof the beer, which was three dollars. I just left it as part of the tip and he had 20%++ tip just for being so cool and how busyit was I felt bed. I?ll definitely be back to taste all the menu items Read more

Although the restaurant was pretty full, we got our 4 pizzas very quickly. Pizzas are prepared in a wood fired oven and taste... like a real italian pizza. the BBQ Chicken pizza is amazing. 5 stars for friendly staff, quick service and great pizza! Read more

Causal spot but very tasty food! Was looking for a simple spot for lunch and stumbled here. I ordered the Chicken Caprese and... Vegetable and it was full of flavor. If this dish was any indication of the quality of the rest of the food then I?d be happy totry more! Read more

Food was okay. Nothing I would write home about. The "broccoli cheese soup" tasted like straight butter. And the "BBQ" pizza... didn't resemble any type of BBQ sauce I've ever had, so that was disappointing. I will say the sweet potato fries were hot anddelicious. I have to say this place is worth another try. We ordered a hamburger, pizza and salad. The pizza was good and definitely the... best item. The burger had decent flavor but was pretty undercooked. The fries had good flavor. The salad had good flavor as wellbut fell a little short for a $10 salad. It was more like a side salad. Overall the atmosphere is fun and the prices were good.Will update if we go again. Read more

Great experience, we were the only customers in the building and had a wonderful time trying the White Ale and various Pizza's.... Chelsea was experienced and friendly for our team. Tucked away with a parking garage next door you can't go wrong at FromScratch Read more

I am a huge fan of supporting local and especially of from scratch, homemade cooking! My husband and I were visiting SLC while... we were staying in Park City. I made a reservation ahead of time, just in case. It was a Saturday and we ate around 5:30. It wasnot busy at all, however, there was a big art festival going on in the city, so I imagine that may have played a role. Eitherway, I always recommend making a reservation ahead of time if you can, especially on weekends. I love the casual vibe, and openkitchen concept of From Scratch! From where we were sitting, we could see right into the kitchen and the wood-fire grill wherethey make pizza. There is indoor and outdoor seating available her during the warmer months of the year. I ordered a salad withSalmon, it was very good I nearly finished the dish, but the Sweet Potato Fries won me over. There were cooked perfectly with agood crunch. My husband ordered the Chicken Alfredo and he finished his dish. The portion sizes were perfect. I can appreciate arestaurant that doesn't overfeed patrons. The service was good and quick. I think we were in and out in about an hour. I woulddefinitely dine here again and recommend it to visiting friends. Read more
