Best dinner in SLC and probably our whole trip in Utah. Reservation required and hard to get on a Sat, but easy on a Sunday a... few days before. We ordered-- The asparagus: perfectly cooked poached egg, well cooked asparagus, and delicious homemadejalapeno mayo. Don't skip this! The gnocchi: incredibly light and delicious, creamy and a can't miss item. The fried chicken:very good flavorful chicken, Moist and delicious. Definitely skippable if you aren't hungry, but a great chicken nonetheless Thefig pizza: honestly we were very full by this point, but it was also delicious. The crust was perfect. The bread: good with thegnocchi to sop up the sauce. Drinks: the Forêt was delicious if a bit sweet, and the sangria was like a cold mulled wine.Enjoyed both. My fiancee ordered the rosemary gimlet and the sage drink, both of which were fresh and enjoyable. Great serviceas well. Will come back here next time! Read more

Got together with some roommates and enjoyed the atmosphere here! Food was pretty good; we got the fries and flatbread to start... (love how they put rosemary, parmesan, and garlic on the fries; definitely elevated them; also loved how the flatbread has fourdifferent dips and they all tasted good!), then the togarashi fried chicken and crispy trout for entrees, fish was delicious andwas definitely crispy!), followed by the homemade ice cream and sorbet. They ran out of mint ice cream so I got the tiramisuone instead then I got the mango sorbet (both were delish!). I also got the Egyptian chamomile with honey and it wasgreat! Our waitress Kathryn (not sure if I spelled her name right) was friendly, patient, and accommodating. As this was ourfirst time, she gave us good recommendations to try. Love to come back again and try their other dishes as well! :) Read more

Dined outside, lots of shading available ensuring a pleasant experience even in the July heat. Waiter / food runner were super... friendly and incredibly helpful. Experience is tapas style, highly recommend anticipating ordering multiple items. Themeatballs were by far my favorite, the rioja sauce is purely amazing (pics attached). The goat cheese cheesecake is also a must. Read more

Eva was delicious. I loved this as a tapas restaurant in downtown salt lake. We went one weeknight around 9pm and it was the... perfect place for a late night dinner. We did make a reservation to save any trouble but we wouldn’t have needed it that lateon a weeknight. That being said, I think having a reservation on the weekend is a must. As for food, we tried 3 different dishesand I loved 2/3 and liked the 3rd but wasn’t blown away. The first dish was the flatbread with an assortment of spreads - I.e.truffled white bean, arugula pesto, spicy feta, olive tapenade. the flatbread was cooked amazingly well. The bread was fresh andcrunchy but still soft on the inside and warm all around. I loved it. And the spreads were fresh and complemented each othervery well. The second dish was the fig & pig pizza and I loveeeed it. The crust - similar to the flatbread - was delicious andbaked so perfectly. It was crunchy but still soft on the inside. The toppings on the pizza were prosciutto, arugula pesto, deliciously fresh mozzarella, and fig jam. Now, I am not a person who generally likes fig. But this jam was amazing in that itwas sweet enough to make the fig appetizing, without making it all too sweet and thereby overwhelming the pizza as a whole. Bigfan of this. Also when I say the mozzarella was good, I also mean that it cooked really well and melted in a favorable manner inthat it retained its shape but softened on the inside. The final dish was the spinach gnocchi. Like I said earlier, we likedthis dish, but didn’t love it. I say that because the plating was a little underwhelming and the sauce was very simple and notas creamy or thick as I would have liked. I’m also not a fan of peas in my pasta dishes. That being said, the gnocchi wascooked very well and had a nice flavor and texture. All in all, I am very eager to go back. The service was great and I want totry the mushroom pizza along with the slow roasted tri tip bruschetta. Read more

There was a short wait last night for dinner (we were walk-ins) so we almost went someplace else. I'm glad we decided to wait it... out because our dinner was incredible! The building is really interesting. We actually ate dinner in the back which is an alleyconverted onto an interior room. Super cool! Eva is a tapas restaurant, which my wife and I love because we get to try so manydifferent things. Here we tried four dishes (plus the fresh bread). All of it was excellent, but two dishes really stood out:the spinach & potato gnocchi and Eva's steak. Each of them has a sauce that's absolutely out of this world. I'm so glad we gotthe bread because we used it to sop up all the leftover sauce. I'm going to have dreams about it for weeks! Both are absolutewinners, and I couldn't recommend them more. Also worth noting is the quality cocktails. I had a Hidden Gem (special, not onthe menu) and a whiskey drink (name escapes me) with maple in it. Both were excellent! If you're unsure where to eat tonight,Eva's is a real winner. Definitely make reservations if you can though. Read more
