Not too bad, I think they are getting there not sure. My first time trying this spot.\n\nGreat aesthetics, and amazing amounts... of LIGHT. It?s super sunny.\n\nThe loose leaf tea option is great, but a quick note - if you are wearing a mask but you use barehands to go inside the loose-leaf tea jar??? The place is nice and cozy. The staff is helpful and the coffee is great. the croissant was reheated and it was like a gum.... Maybe ask for your croissant not to be put in microwave. Read more
Pretty ok. On the one hand they have an awesome Slayer espresso machine. It seems like the team knows what they?re doing and the... afternoon barista pulled some great latte art and foam for me. So that is a huge plus. On the disappointing end their espressowasn?t great. I wanted to try their featured roasted the day after so I went in the morning. Found out it was Rimini which wasfine but again kind of a let down. Also no free refills on the drip coffee. It?s not a huge deal but it seems like other placeswith single origin or third wave brew give at least one refill as a standard. The pastries are also just ok. Lone Pine and a fewhouse made things. Breakfast is yummy. Wish they had more selection for hot breakfast, or at least switched the menu more often. They have about... two or three hot breakfast items. Hot chocolate was just okay, nothing special. Wish it was more chocolaty and rich. Not acoffee drinker but my aunt loved this place when she visited and said their Americana was excellent. She said drip coffee not asfresh as she would have liked but then she started getting Americana and was very happy. (She?s a coffee fanatic so she saideven the drip coffee wasn?t horrible just not as fresh as having it in a vacuum bag.) Read more
I?m in town for the week and was looking for a local coffee shop that was open early, so I stumbled upon this awesome place. I... had a latte and The Millenial for breakfast?they were both incredible! I will definitely be back later in the week for at leastonce more visit before I leave! Read more
This place checks all the boxes. Good location, good atmosphere, friendly staff, and the drinks were great. Not much seating... because it?s a quaint little place but totally worth a visit, even if you take your order to-go. Read more
Excellent place for a warm drink and pastry. Marmalade/West Capitol has long been wasteland for food options. It is changing. I... had a great hot chocolate on a rainy morning and a delicious lemon scone. Soft and tart. Thank you for filling a need in theneighborhood. Read more
