Seriously good bakery! This place has a huge variety of baked goods, deli type items, and cafe drinks. I?ve tried their chai and... a few of their pastries. The chai was tasty and all the pastries have been excellent. I don?t think you can go wrong withanything they offer. The staff have been really nice, the restaurant is spotless, and the prices are reasonable. I saw thisplace driving by in the evening, and it looked like such a beacon of light and perfection among the scumminess that is most ofstate street. Read more
Great selection of French and other creative pastries. The croissants all look great. I?ve tried to tiramisu and the pain ah... chocolat. So delicious and nice. The customer service really floored me though. I went early and the woman behind the counterwas so friendly and inviting. I would come back weekly simply for that. Add good food and it?s a done deal! Breakfast anytime of the day! Make sure to look at the daily specials. It is always great options ????. The bread here is in... another level. My daughter said this was the best (Kraft) Macaroni and cheese ever. Of course there are actual French foods here that are... delicious as well. Quiche Lorraine and French Toast for breakfast. I will be back soon for the Hot Chocolate again and it?sJuly. Promptly seated and served. Read more
We have been driving by this French bakery for a while and finally got the chance to try them out. Now, the food was delicious... and all their pastries looked delicous. We had a super nice lady helping us out but I think that she was new because she keptplacing hot items directly in front our baby and we had to keep moving them so she wouldn't get hurt. Again, she was great justmight have been to busy or having an off day. THEIR QUICHES were to die for! Highly recommend you try them. We also picked up amango raspberries tart and one chocolate dessert. We will come back again and see how our experience with staff is. Read more
Met up with some friends here on their recommendation of a central bakery that?d have something we all could agree to... enjoy. Selection: 4 large display cases, cakes, pastries, tarts, cookies, breads? Eyes: appealing and beautiful options. Mind:what?s the best option for the price, and will I want to return? Mouth: this is delicious, however not taste exactly how my eyesand mind put it together? especially when my wallet got involved. Bottom line, my opinion. Not a destination bakery, but if I?min the neighborhood and have time to kill- this is a great stop to satisfy bakery cravings. Read more
Delicious pastries and awesome service. I was very happy to know that there is this cafe close to home where we could get... anything we love eating at Gourmandise downtown. When we first discovered it, we notice a very close resemblance from setup andthe dish and pastries they served and later discovered that this is a spinoff of the one downtown. In fact, we love eating herebetter than the one downtown. First it is very close to home and second, parking is never an issue. In terms of food, everythingis similar meaning both are equally delicious and very appetizing. I think prices are pretty similar and most of all, crews arevery nice. The place is well maintained and like I said, they have ample parking. And by the way, they have some special dishitems that are not in their menu but can be ordered if requested ???? Read more
Very good place for takeaway, or dine in if you want to brave the crowds. Especially busy at breakfast. The baked goods are... wonderful. The foccacia topped with cheese reminds me so much of the square cut takeaway pizza in every major Italian Piazza Ialmost looked around for the duomo. Its a true european bakery so if you want the full selection get there early in the day. Read more
