Amazing food! A but pricier then other Mexican restaurants, but the service and the food are impeccable!\nThe beignet churros... are so good, so amazing we order two! ????????\nI got the carne asada burrito which was delicious, guacamole is amazing becausethey don’t add any tomatoes to it, and the Birria tacos are to die for! Will definitely come back.\nJust the ordering a bitconfusing because you do it yourself in the computer, is easy, but it gets crowded.\nBesides that, totally worth it! Read more
A fun modern take on Mexican food.\n\nAfter seeing a buzz on social media, I decided to give this place a shot. I ordered online... for pickup. My order was ready on time when I arrived. They have several types of burritos, tacos, and an all-day breakfastmenu. I opted for a carne asada burrito and chips two ways with salsa. The restaurant is decorated in a fun way, like amodernized take on the old Americanized Mexican look. The staff were friendly and quick.\n\nMy food travelled well and stayedwarm. The burrito was really good, but also small. I was disappointed by its size and would have been hungry if not for thechips. The chips came with normal corn tortilla chips and puffed wheat chips. Both were tasty, as were the provided salsas. Ilikely will not return due to the size/price ratio, but cannot complain about the quality of the food. Seems like a good optionfor anyone in the area. So, here’s the thing. I don’t eat cilantro bc I’m allergic to the taste of it! I mean, if I’m starving, yes, I will... probably eat it. That’s said, I typically do not frequent Mexican restaurants that often. If I do, I stick with “safe”items that I know I’ve had before. Weird. Silly. I know. It’s your money, spend it how you wish.\nToday, we walked over tothis place from a Marriott hotel. It’s very festive from the outside. We didn’t chose to sit outside bc it’s a littlechilly, but I can only imagine how fun and lively it must be in the evenings.\nThe person who greeted us was very kind andwelcomingly explained the ordering process (call in, scan the QR code, or use the kiosk). There were 5 in our party so we alldecided to order different things. I ordered the Los Muertos Carne Asada minus the pico de gallo and cilantro, of course. It wasdelicious! It came in a burrito style, the tortilla was slightly toasted but not too crunchy. The Spanish rice on the side wasfluffy and soft. I wanted more. I did the whole ugly eating and actually finished my food that would make any parent proud! Wealso ordered some churros…I recommend eating those first because it’s nice and warm…! My colleagues all finished theirfood and everyone was satisfied with their food choice. We will be back.\nThe ambience alone make you want to take a swiftvacation to Mexico or Baja! Or not go back to work! ????\nCheck them out if you’re in the Sugar House neighborhood, east sideof Salt Lake City.\nAlso, I didn’t take pictures of the food! That’s how good it is!! Read more
