Reviews for China Town Eatery in Salt Lake City, UT
Read the reviews before going to this restaurant - most of the reviews were complaining about the wait time. To be fair,... throughout their restaurants, they posted \"One Chef, One Server, One Wok\" signs asking for patrons\' patience.\nSo, we wentmaybe 5-10 minutes after they are open. We were seated almost immediately - there were 2 other customers already there. We haddim sum, it was good. We were surprised by their zhongzhi because it\'s vegetarian. Their hot sauce is not the dim sum chili oilthat we are familiar with, but, Sriracha. That was a little weird. But, they make up with \"homemade\" (we were told) sweet soysauce.\nOverall, good food and fair prices. Read more
???? please be patient. Food is decent, but keep in mind, they have a sign that says 1 server 1 wok and 1 chef. Got the dim sum.... Food quality is average to above average. Coconut bun is tasty ! Service is on the extreme slow side, don?t say you weren?twarned! ???? Read more
I?ve been going there for almost 10 years. A lot has changed in salt lake area and I appreciate this place keep family style.... I?m sure it is so easy to raise the price, since their pricing is still so reasonable that no where else can beat, and hire moreemployees to do it. Thanks goodness, they didn?t! The food also tastes just the same good as I first came. Read more
Food is alright, I could have give 4 stars?.it just?they only have one chef and one waitress?.I wait for like an hour to get my... order done?.\n\nIf you are coming in none rush hour, should be fine.\n\nBut one good thing is they made all the food fromscratch. That?s part of the reason why it is slow, but the food is fresh. Read more

Nice little spot to go for lunch. I always order the shrimp chow mein with extra scallions and peppers, which is delicious ????
The food here is good and the price is a little cheaper than most restaurant around it.\nDon\'t come though if you\'re super... hungry. I want to like this place but the wait time is unbelievable. The wait time from waiting to be seated, for them to getback to you to take your order, to by the time they serve your food will take at least 30-45 minutes. And this is prettyconsistent regardless of the time of day and even if the place is only half (or less) full. I think there\'s only 2 personnelrunning all the tasks at the same time. If you\'re not in a hurry though and not starving, I think it\'s worth the wait and youwill be served with delicious ang piping hot dish. Read more
First time coming here during my work lunch, I ordered the lunch special and the Shang hai dumplings, it?s was so good and well... priced, the only down fall of this restaurant is that they did take a little while bringing out the food, basically waited 25min to get the dumplings and another 10 to get my meal as there is only one lady working in the front as waitress, I would sayat least to get seated and get the food and be done was an 80-90 min total. I do recommend soo good ! Read more
