Drive thru was a terrible and awkward experience? couldn?t understand what the lady was saying, got up to the window and she... asked for a tip immediately and when I got home to eat and opened the bag, food and dressing had spilled everywhere because shedidn?t put the lids on anything securely. I visit cafe Rio almost weekly. Their Salad is the best! Friendly staff at this location , too~
I went through the drive-thru many times and they always seem to give me the either the wrong order or they mess up my order.... Typically they give me the wrong order. If you go inside it takes forever as well. You got anywhere from 2 to 3 people staringat their phones while working. Food is getting okay it's not as good as it used to be. Workers like this that just stand thereand watch their phone with food sitting on the counter for people at the drive-thru waiting for their food. When you got peoplelike this in the photo that just sit and stare and look at their phone and text maybe that's why these orders are getting messedup and the drive-thru and everything is so slow. Pathetic. Looks like Costa Vida took all the sweet pork in the divorce. Does this look like a 20 minute wait, 10$ meal to you?... Looks like Cafe Rio is changing portion sizes. Not horrible, but definitely not good. You know when you?re craving that yummy enchilada style burrito smothered with cheese and... sauce specifically from Cafe Rio? don?t go to this one. Mine wasn?t even smothered completely (only the middle) and they?restingy with their cheese. They also didn?t put cheese inside my burrito! If you want a dry, cheese-less burrito - this is theplace! The burrito was a sloppy wet mess. Could not even pick it up. Should have been sold as burrito stew. The habanero sauce was... mild, not hot. The pork was weirdly sweet. I?ve been going to Cafe Rio since it opened but in the past few years the quality and order accuracy has taken a nose dive. It... doesn?t matter if you bring an issue with your order to the companies attention. Nothing changes in fact it gets worse somehow.I?ve continued to give it chance but when every time you visit your order is wrong it?s time to give up. I always order thesame thing as most. Chicken salad with shredded lettuce, no Pico. Every single time it is wrong and has the wrong lettuce andlots of Pico. My order yesterday had over 1 cup of Pico on it. It was everywhere throughout the salad and inedible even aftertrying to remove it. In addition to not being what I ordered it?s really quite wasteful. They throw money away by not makingorders correct and adding the things people don?t want. In this case it seemed to be blatantly added. Such a shame. Read more
If you like cold food, this is the place to go. I ask them nicely to make sure my food is hot and it never is. Who likes cold... enchiladas?? The real kicker is they now expect tips when going through the drive thru and they can?t even provide good serviceor food. Maybe it?s just this location, but Cafe Rio used to be SO much better. ????
