Called the restaurant at 9pm on 9/7 and spoke to the hostess. I knew they didn't do reservations but did do call ahead seating.... I had a large party of 25 and wanted to be sure not to show up on them unannounced like that. I asked what we needed to do doget seated on 9/9 at 5pm. I was told that I needed to call when they opened on 9/9 and tell them we were coming and they wouldput us down and call us when the table was ready. I was like great, thank you. On 9/9, I called just after they opened at4:15pm. I told the hostess how many and hoping for 5-5:30 seating. I was told there would be a 2 hour wait tome at this time andthat they could only seat us separately. They could not accommodate our large group on a Friday. Why wasn't I told this when Icalled 2 days prior. So at zero-thirty hour we were left without out a place for a birthday dinner. We drove by on our way toanother place that was going to try to accommodate us last minute, and the Texas Roadhouse parking lot was almost empty exceptfor the far lot, which I assume is employee parking. This was my first visit and I was not impressed. First asked for a table of 4 and got a booth so small that it reminded of my... elementary school desk days. Then we waited while many "tables" were open and many employees standing around talking... Thenthe rolls... they were under a heat lamp half the day so we sent them back.. I wish the server would have told us about "anyspecials " we could have gotten. Because the fatty beef tips and instant mashed potatoes did not cut it! Don't try to talk withyour party it's so loud I turned my hearing aid off. Oh do you have desert? Server did not offer....This was not my idea of asteak house ,fatty steak tips ,instant mashed potatoes with canned gravy. If you need help setting up your your menu I will beglad to help! Read more
Friday night. Wait was about an hour for 5 people, not bad. Once seated, we had fresh, hot rolls and drinks very quickly. I... ordered the frozen hurricane margarita. Oh my, I will have that again. I've worked in very nice restaurants and I've worked in decent restaurants. I wish that they all could have been this place!!!!... Amazing, excellent, wonderful, spot on you name it this restaurant has it all. One of the best atmospheres I've ever seen, thebest wait staff you could ever find, and oh my God the food surpasses every expectation. I'm not going to say this is one of myfavorite places I'm going to say this is my favorite place. The stakes are so perfectly cooked they absolutely melt in yourmouth the fried onion that you get here makes Outbacks look like an absolute joke. And the prices absolutely cannot be beat. Ifyou have not been here then stop what you're doing and make a reservation now. More than likely you'll have to wait an hour atleast because this place is in such high demand everyone knows how great it is and everyone wants to be here. Our waitress wasshaylee and our manager was Kasi and they have to be some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I found out the wait staff herehas to be trained for over a week and if they fail any part of it they don't get the job and I can tell that they've beentrained properly!!!!! Brand new yet they already seem to have everything in order. Food and service was excellent! I highly recommend calling ahead or... going online (or app) to be on the wait list otherwise you?ll be waiting 1-2 hours. I?m sure this may die down some over time,but not much. Food was excellent. Steaks are lightly cooked but not complaining because it?s better to be light than burnt lol.Mixed drinks were wonderful, sides were wonderful. Overall an A+ Read more
