Have been to this restaurant several times over the past few years. Never been disappointed. Food always great. Staff always... friendly, as well as the bar patrons. Only one minor complaint, I usually order a mai-tai and initially they were great. Thenthe last time I got one, the taste was off a bit. I mentioned it to the server and he told me they changed the mix supposedlydue to a supply chain issue. But other than that, it's the best Chinese restaurant around. I only gave food a 4 because the. Crab Rangoon tasted of only cream cheese. They could improve that. Otherwise the rest of the... food was fabulous and was served steaming hot. Will definitely go back. Read more

We've been trying to find a new place for Chinese take-out after supporting Family for 6 years. The past couple orders have... been incredibly bland: "fried rice" that is basically white rice with some stuff thrown in and a few drops of soy sauce on top,spicy dishes that have no heat whatsoever, and main dishes that look and taste almost exactly regardless of whether they'rebeef, chicken, or pork, or what style is ordered. Shocking that so many people think it's great, but we will keep looking forsomething better. Read more

Memorial Day, my wife and I were hungry and driving home from the beach. We stopped by Family's Chinese restaurant. Never been... there before, so figured why not? We ordered Lemon chicken, Mongolian beef, house fried rice and egg rolls. Service was quick.Mongolian beef came out in a sizzling platter. Meat was so tender and covered in onions and scallions. Lemon chicken wasexcellent as well! Chicken was prepared well and lots of lemon sauce on the side! House rice had plenty of chicken, shrimp,pork, eggs and bean sprouts. Egg rolls had no meat but filled with cabbage. They were very good. We finished the rice, but stillhad enough chicken beef and an egg roll left for dinner that night. First time here... We love Family Chinese. It is the best Chinese food around here and we are some big time chinese/Cantonese/Szechuan/Hunan style... fans. It was stunning to have such well done dishes when we arrived in the area, honestly. The staff is always friendly, theservice is prompt, and the dishes are hot. We go once a week. You should too!
