If you?re looking at this restaurant because you?re in your car and hungry. Do yourself a favor and make the stop into Mom?s... Cafe. The service will make you happy to have stopped while not feeling like it?s adding a bunch of time to your trip, and thefood will make you think twice about if you really want to leave. All for about the same price you?d spend at some chain fastfood spot off the highway. And order yourself and extra scone or two for the road, you can thank me later. Read more

I wouldn?t eat here again. Pros: house coffee was pretty good, the service we received from our waitress was welcoming and... attentive. No complaints whatsoever. The house salad was fresh, apart from the canned beets. Cons: My biggest complaint is theHeath code violations. The door to the kitchen was wide open and from our booth, I had clear view of where the older woman wascooking the food. I watched her put bacon on the grill with her bare hands, then immediately open the refrigerator door and grab2 slices of bread and cheese for my 7 year old daughter?s grilled cheese. I continued to watch and she never washed her hands orput on gloves the entire time we were there. The salmon and haddock we ordered was frozen, not fresh, and the ?scone? we wereserved was actually just fried pizza dough that had gone sour. There was nothing scone like about it. I?m including pictures ofthe salmon dinner, haddock dinner, and ?scone?. We were going to order desserts because they?re advertised as homemade, butafter seeing their kitchen practices with the raw pork, we decided it was safer to skip it. Our bill for 3 adult entrees and onekids meal was $54, so it?s fairly reasonable, but I wouldn?t take my chances with food poisoning at this cafe. Read more

Eating here right now and just had to write a review. Service is amazing - our waitress overheard my wife mention how she loves... the beets on the house salad and brought more beets over a few seconds later. Another waitress at a different table walked outjust to double check the toppings on a different guest's burger before it was made. All of the staff is incredibly nice andfriendly. Some of the best service I've ever had! And the food is absolutely amazing. Great burgers and fries Read more
