My first time at Momoya was a pretty good experience. The server was nice and friendly. The service however was a bit delayed... most likely due to the takeout orders. I had calamari, sushi, and ramen. The broth could use some work and the eggs could?vebeen more soft boiled and marinated. The calamari could also use some work since it felt like it was frozen and then deep fried.It might?ve been because it was a bit over fried. Overall, not a bad experience. This place is amazing. The service is always on point, and are the prices. You will not find better sushi in town at this price... point, at all, actually. I've had their sushi before, but last night I tried the eel don and I think I had a religiousexperience. It was just layers and layers of yumminess that wouldn't stop! My God! Sushi was fantastic, best in town by FAR! Teriyaki chicken with rice & veggies was fresh and tasty. Wife thought it needed more... sauce while I enjoyed that the sauce wasn't thick and heavy. Ordered online 30 minutes in advance. When we got to the restaurant to pick up our order, they hadn't even started preparing... our food, yet. They waited until we got there to start! BUT, the food is INCREDIBLE! Good sized portions at a good price, andthe quality and taste of our meal was absolutely superb, and the staff was kind, knowledgeable, and friendly!
