Brother and I were in town and were actually intending to eat at the pizza place which turns out to be above the Boathouse. ... This place is awesome. Good beer selection. It's worth the wait. When in Salida, Colorado, swing by and put your name on the waiting list to get a chance to eat here. The... service was good, busy staff though. They have specialty drinks and their own spin on the entrees. The prices are a little high,but for the location and the food, it's worth it. Hopefully you can get a chance to be on the edge, overlooking the river. Wewere entertained by the rafters & kayaker flipping over. ???? This place is a must. Really delicious food here! We stopped here on our way back from ziplining. I had the Boater burger with elk and my boyfriend... had the Cattleman burger. My burger was fantastic! It was hot, juicy and perfectly cooked. He said his was really good too! Thehomemade chips were an added bonus! It also had the perfect view of the river and the various contests they had overwhite-water rafting festival days. Highly recommend going here for an excellent meal! Read more
Wow, what more can I say? This is a great place to eat. I had the Best Chicken Strips Ever and let me tell you how juicy they... were, nothing ?not? amazing about them. The breading and everything, can definitely say they are on the top of my list. TheHouse Made Chips were also seriously delicious ???? ????????. My husband had the Shrimp Tacos and he really enjoyed them aswell. The restaurant is on the bank of the Arkansas River, very nice atmosphere. The road was blocked off for foot traffic so wejust had to go up a few streets and make our way back and we?re able to get to the public parking at the end of the street. A pretty nice restaurant that isn't too expensive for a great meal. The menu has a plethora of options to fit any of your... cravings as you dine while overlooking the flowing river in downtown Salida. There is also a gift shop that offers plenty ofmerchandise if you are in the looking for some souvenirs. Read more
The quinoa burger was very tasty and the view is great! We had a party of 6 and were told it would be a 20 minute wait, which... was fine. It ended up being 45 minutes with many open tables of the size we were eventually seated at. Hence the 3 stars. Ourwaiter was amazing! Read more
