If you are looking for ambience, it is lacking. It is very plain. Garlic bread was delicious. Eggplant Parmesan was good but... plain. I think one should try Lydia's out. It is good, reasonably priced and you do feel like you are in Lydia's ItalianKitchen. Read more

I was highly impressed with this restaurant. The restaurant is very clean, and the staff are great! I witnessed the staff help a... customer who has vision problems get to his seat and to the restroom. The staff here seem to go above and beyond their jobduties. I spoke with the owner who informed me of things that make this place stand out. 1. The oven is a wood oven they sourcethe wood locally and it cooks around 675f. This allows the pizza etc to obtain a very unique taste. 2. The dough is made inhouse from scratch 5 days a week (they are open 6 days a week). 3. The cheese also has buffalo milk in it which gives it anextra kick and makes it stingy. I've never been more impressed with an establishment then here so I highly recommend coming hereeven if you're not in the area a day trip here would certainly benefit you. Read more
Have been to this place previously when it was Pizza Pasta Pit and it was good. Decided to try the newly renovated Restaurant as... Lydia's Italian Kitchen and it certainly didn't disappoint. Went as a party of four adults and four children and the atmospherewas still very family friendly. Ordered several of the appetizers and all were tasty. Three adults ordered calzones and all saidthey were delicious. The one bite I had I would have to agree. I myself ordered chicken Alfredo and the salad served with it wasgreat. The Alfredo sauce was flavorful with garlic and cheese. Got a cheese pizza for the kids and all enjoyed. Had a slicemyself and would love to try more pizza on my next visit. Our table also had a couple bottles of wine that were great and thewaitress was very knowledgeable about. I look forward to trying more of the offerings of this beautiful restaurant in the nearfuture. Read more
