As a Bar owner this food was well above average, best Cod fish and chips I have ever had, and I live on the coast. Our waitress... was very attentive. The food was excellent, my coffee cup never reached the bottom as the waitress was very attentive. The mashed potatoes were real... and the Mr. Browns meatloaf had a unique flavor that I would like to experience again. Very nice place to eat and this was our2nd anniversary. We enjoyed dinner. Our favorite reason to come here is Paul, the bartender. He works so hard and is the best of the best. He remembers our favorite... foods and our preferred drinks and he?s the main reason we come here. If he weren?t here, we probably wouldn?t come. The foodcan be good but not consistent...salmon, chicken, etc. The onion rings used to be great; now, not so much, the batter isterrible. I go here regularly for business meetings. We love the atmosphere. It is quiet, even when it's crowded, and the building itself... is really cool. The food is pretty middle of the road, standard fare for breakfast, typical American style diner lunch menu. Thefries are good. The staff have always been really friendly. I'll keep going back. Worst experience ever going to a restaurant. If you want lukewarm, uncooked food, and awful service come here. This was the... fourth time my wife and have tried to give it another chance and sadly the experience was not only bad, but I can say withoutany doubt that last night was our last visit. Very overpriced for the quality of food and service provided. If you come hereit's to grab a couple drinks and that's it. DO NOT ORDER FOOD! Both my wife and I are now spending the beginning of our weekwith food poisoning. I don't typically write reviews, but I wouldn't want anyone else to experience what we are currently goingthrough. My wife and I went here with the in-laws for Easter brunch. The experience was good. However, I would say the atmosphere and... service was better than the food. The food was presented well, but lacking in flavor and preparation. I got the Easter hamplate which came with the ham, candied carrots on top, a side of asparagus, scalloped potatoes and deviled eggs. The ham was abit overdone, the candied carrots were fine, scalloped potatoes cut too thick and lacking in flavor, asparagus preparedimproperly. The side salad that came before the meal was fresh and delicious. After the meal came a small dessert of a puffedmeringue cookie with a vanilla custard of sorts. It was very sweet but delicious. I don't give too many bad reviews, but ... bathroom was gross, service was slow and underwhelming , food took a long time to... arrive, and the food quality was low and basic plain presentation. Too much salt on the potatoes, overcooked bacon. Finalscore = meh.???? The venue was nice atmosphere for a Saturday brunch, but don't go if your in a time crunch, and don't go ifyour looking for a luxurious food experience. I think they have a captured market of golf club members too keep things afloat. But its obvious they aren't trying very hard to dial in the restaurants capabilities. Read more
