TL;DR: How could you not love it here. Came here for brunch around 10:30am on a Sunday with 3 friends. We were sat immediately... and fell in love with the place almost as quickly. It seemed like all the staff operated in a "help where needed" manner insteadof sections, which made it feel very homey! We got coffee and water mere minutes after sitting down, and never wanted formore. I opted for the 2x2x2 (I got chocolate chip pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon), my friends got the chicken fried steak,breakfast burrito, and lemon poppy seed pancake special. I could not tell you who loved their meal more. Everything was hot,fresh, and cooked to perfection. We had all the condiments and sides we needed before we even knew we needed it! The pancakeswere fluffy, the bacon crispy, everything was well seasoned. I want to eat here every single day. A couple of people I trust recommended Patty's Off-Center Cafe, so we gave it a try on Wednesday. My wife said that her Denver... Omelet was the best she had ever eaten. I was likewise very impressed with my omelet. On Saturday, we came back and my wife hadthe Reuben, that she also enjoyed a lot. I had the 2x2x2 blueberry pancakes topped with strawberries and whipped cream. Again,it was a big winner. This will be a new go-to lunch/brunch spot for us. Visited for breakfast on my wedding day with my bridal party. The food was lovely, and the people were even lovelier! The chef... came out to personally ask if we were enjoying our meal, and other kitchen staff congratulated me on our way out. The space wascozy, and we all adored the chicken-themed decor. I had breakfast here today with my son. We both were very pleased with the service and the food. He had the homemade corned beef... and I had German hash. They were both very good and the servings were generous. Our server kept our coffee cups full too.That's always a big plus with me. Will definitely be coming back! Read more
Updating my review from 2 years ago: Still 5 stars. I go here on occasion and every single time it's the best breakfast I've... ever had. The food couldn't taste better. Why in the hell would someone go to Shari's when this place exists. If you haven'tbeen here, come here. The ultimate scramble is my favorite but I just had the tofu scramble and I was blown away at how good itwas.
