Dipped in through the drive through for a midmorning coffee and early lunch. Staff was very friendly, and selection of foods was... above and beyond your typical coffee shop. Got their Cesar salad and a moha. Both are quite delicious! Would visit again nexttime I'm in town. Read more
No one in Salem is doing what Joe Mocha is doing. They brew their own coffee in-house in a Diedrich roaster, they make high... quality made-to-order food, their baked goods are fresh, seasonal, and delightful, and the staff are fun and engaged. I can'twait for them to finish their dining room remodel! When they do, you'll find me there. Heard such wonderful things about this place decided to stop in. Very friendly but when I got home to eat my coffee cake and... drink my coffee it was all burnt. Coffee tasted like it had been sitting in a burnt pot. And coffee bread was heated and when Iwent to eat it it was also burnt and very dry. Pretty bummed but oh well. Read more
Been a customer for years! Love supporting this small family owned business!! Their sausage breakfast burrito is so good!! ... I've tried pretty much every Chi in Salem but honestly, Joe Mocha has the BEST house made Chi in town, bar none!! Most of theirfood items are home made and are delicious!! J. M., has daily specials that usually sell out! Try their BLT, you won't bedisappointed!! I've special ordered large batches of their home made baked goods for food days @ work, which are a hit everytime!! The staff is courteous and always cheerful!! The pie pockets are fabulous!! If an order is not up to my liking I letthem know and the next one is no charge! I say this not as a negative, but as a positive as everyone makes an occasionalmistake, and the staff is always apologetic! Try Joe Mocha you won't be disappointed!! Support small local business!! I've lived in Salem for about 10yrs. This is hands down not only the best coffee but also the most consistent, my wife and I... always come here when we don't want to risk getting bad coffee. They make their own chocolate for mocha, roast their own beansand their food menu while small, has no disappointing options. They also sell their whole roasted beans, which is what we use athome now.
