Reviews for Jack in the Box in Salem, OR
Went to this location at around 8:30pm and when I finally got up to order they told me they were only taking burger, fries, and... drink orders. This would?ve been nice to know when I got in line especially since there?s no way of getting out of drive thruwithout having to wait for the people in front of you to finish. Read more
The two guys I saw on shift were killing it despite the odds. No cook, and a line starting to wrap the building, not to mention... all the doordash orders. They were super polite and fast. This is always our late night spot and we are never let down. Read more
They'll take advantage of the late night hours to close down while advertising that they're open and when questioned about how... long they'll take to finish "DeEp ClEaNiNg", they always say 15 minutes but then extend it another 30. Lazy night shift workersfor sure. Time fraud at its best Read more
Worker's were great!! But I'm not sure why they were open!! Cause they were out of everything!! No fries, chicken, onion rings!... Nothing!! Very sad! First time I ever been to jack n the box,and I can honestly say I haven't missed anything. Read more
I came here yesterday 8/19, and they were unfortunately out of half the menu. When I got to the window my total seemed a little... high for a single medium meal, and when I was supposed to get 24 cents back I was told they had no change which I was neverwarned about before making payment. Every other time I have come here I typically wait 15 or more minutes. I used to like cominghere on my lunches but don?t think I?ll be able to anymore. Read more
Usually the wait here is pretty long due to there being only one employee throughout the night which is fine usually as it?s... only 20ish minutes. But tonight I?ve waited a little over an hour to even order my food. And of course the drive-thru issmartly made so once you?re in it, you?re stuck. Do not come here if you want something quick. (I added a star on edit because I realized there is only 3 piece and 7 piece stuffed jalapenos, having the extra little breading... nugget threw me off.) I don't know why I continue to come back but I always think maybe it was just that one time that was badand yet this Jack in the Box always finds a way to prove to me that no matter what this location will always give me a badexperience. Whether it is rude impatient staff that asks you if that's it after everything you say, or just sloppy badlyprepared or forgotten meal items. I don't get it, is the hiring manager specifically looking for the most incompetent lazy badattitude workers they can scrape up? This last visit I had was at the drive thru the lady taking my order was rude and rushedme as per usual that was no surprise, I get to the window and I can't even tell if she's talking to me or the headset and she'sserving attitude, and as we drive off and I get home I look at my stuffed jalapenos to find 3 jalapenos and one shriveled pieceof breading. My fries are soggy and they gave me no utensils to eat them with, so I guess I'll just use my fingers like ananimal. At this point I can only laugh because I'm the idiot who keeps coming back expecting decent service from a fast foodrestaurant. If you take away anything from this review let it be to avoid this location at all costs. Save your money and gosomewhere else. Of course they didn't give me a receipt so I can't do their survey because I imagine if they gave out receiptstheir survey ratings would tank. Read more
How is this restaurant still running? Just about everything about it is falling apart including its drive through, causing... ever-lasting bottlenecks. May the odds be in your favor if you show up to the drive through after midnight. You won?t know theyactually close at 1:30am ? not 2:00 ? until you drive up to the broken drive through board telling you the time they close andto pull up to the delivery and payment window to actually order. I had to wait 40 minutes AFTER MIDNIGHT to order. And onceyou?re in the drive through and find out you may not get to order in time, you?re stuck! Sorry! It is clearly, severely, understaffed. When I pulled up to the window it looked like they just had 1 person working. Poor guy looked miserable and waslikely getting a mouthful from frustrated customers all because the company?s incompetence. The outside also just looks grossand run down; the drive through area needs a complete update. It made me concerned about the food I was (finally) about to eat,and not having a chance to LEAVE if you don?t want to wait any longer gave me anxiety. I feel bad for the workers; it doesn?tlook like a good place to work (May explain the staffing shortages). All that said, I give it an extra star because thesandwich was actually pretty good.
