Got the sirloin steak tips dinner for $17 and I opened the box to see very small portions!! I've been a cook and kitchen manager... at several bars around town and know that mac and cheese is in a 4oz portion cup!! That's what they put ranch and side saucesin, not a side dish! The steak tips were bland but tender, the mushrooms and onions were sauteed nicely. The veggie is usuallythe cheaper item but maybe a quarter cup of broccoli?!? NOT WORTH MY MONEY EVER AGAIN!! The service was pretty good, checking in a few times between ordering, food delivered, and us paying. Staff responded to... requests (refills, some more creamer for my wife's coffee, etc) reasonably quickly. The food was hot and to us in a reasonableamount of time. Food was okay, but not even remotely worth the price. Food was barely warm, butter was cold. Waitstaff completely forgot my... partner's order and it wasn't brought out until my kids and I had all but finished eating. The 'apple juice' that was given tomy son was either old or made incorrectly, as it had been reduced to an apple-flavored syrup. I haven't been to IHOP in 20 years. Have been a Denny's customer . The food was ok. You couldn't slice bacon any thinner and the... eggs they use are pretty small. You can't give half star ratings so I bumped them up by one half. The blue ???? berry pancakeshowever, were awesome. They still have flavored syrup in bottles right on the table. There was much online info about this. Atthis IHOP you have 4 choices. Period. Traditional, Butter Pecan, Blueberry, and Chocolate. No Boysenberry. (My personal fav.) Prices are about the same as anywhere else nowadays, too much. The service was excellent. Bottom line. Still prefer Denny's. Read more
