Nice place, friendly staff. Food was pretty good, just a little over done on the eggs. We had breakfast, but will be back to try... their lunch for sure. Read more

Great food and airplanes, what more could you ask for! Everything about our meal was wonderful. I had the bacon burger and my... wife had the French dip, both were very good. The service was fantastic as well, even though it was quite busy we were made tofeel like the only table in there. Add in the fact that there are huge windows so you can watch planes land and take off and youhave one pretty awesome restaurant. This place will definitely be in our dining rotation going forward, we loved everythingabout it! Read more

Nacho chips stale. Beef at least 2 days old. Boneless wings too salty to eat both drinks undrinkable. Never Been before. Went... on recommendations. The only people who say this is good food do not care what they eat or have been going for 20 years andhave no idea how bad the food quality is. It was so bad the drinks were made twice and the chef didn't even argue the food, justsaid ok and comped the whole meal. If they thought their food was good they wouldn't have just given up like that and let awhole meals check just walk out the door. Waitress was lovely did the best she could but she was the ONLY one working andbartending. Awesome concept. Wish is was just McDonald's standards at LEAST for a sit down restaurant. Awful. Read more

A favorite place to take the kids for plane spotting or a fly-in lunch. The classic $100 hamburger fly-in restaurant. Model RC... airplanes hang from the ceiling and huge windows overlook every aspect of the airport including the Army's Nation Guardhelicopter taking off from across the way. Excellent service and food as to be expected for this type of affair. Glad to seethis pillar of the community continuing to stay strong and inspire future aviators. Read more

I'm a lifelong salem resident and I'd never been here. It was pretty much what I expected. The food is pretty atrocious. I guess... you could call it "greasy spoon" but usually those establishments take pride in that style. I ordered nachos and it looked likethe nachos Will Farrell microwaves in the opening scene of 'Step Brothers.' The view of the airport is cool, and there'sactually private jets that use it fairly often. We sat and guessed the passengers, it had to be either Taylor Swift or MelGibson. ???? Last, they really need to deep clean. There's very thick dust on the decor. ???? We didn't enjoy eating at anestablishment that doesn't appear clean. Read more

What a hidden gem. Set just outside the Salem Municipal Airport, model airplanes hanging from the ceiling and good quality food.... The clubhouse was by far my favorite clubhouse sandwich in a long time. The kids plates, are actual frisbees they can take home.Would recommend and will be returning for sure. Read more

I wanted to like this place. I've heard good things about it before. It's a gorgous setting overlooking the airport. You can... watch a plane take off or land. Now onto the food... The Shepard's pie was one of the most foul tasting dishes I've tried diningout. Canned peas and green beans, instant potatoes, and the gravy... let me tell ya. The flavor overpowered the entire dish withits salty putrid taste. Some shredded cheese on top and they popped it into the microwave for several minutes and made thecheese all crusty around the bowl. The crab mac n cheese had a decent flavor, but the crab was cold in it. The pieces of crabmeat on top; almost frozen cold. After a few bites I just couldnt do it anymore. The mac n cheese wedges are huge. About thesize of 2 pieces of pie stacked together. Hard to eat them as they fall apart. There was 4 tables of people eating when we werethere and it took about 45 minutes to get our food. Seemed quite a long time for some packaged/canned food put in a bowl andmicrowaved. The onion rings were good. The waitress was very nice and pleasant to deal with. The place was clean except for thedust alligators on the airplane decor. Maybe it was just an off night? Who knows. Probably wont be back Read more

Now this place may not be everyone's cup of tea but I like it. For me brings back memories of the small restraint in Orange... county John Wayne Airport back when John Wayne was still around. The food never disappoints. They do the best fried chicken atdinner. If you are in for lunch get the chicken tenders. Now I know chicken tenders. Well the breading they use is like noother. Light thin crispy full of flavor and the chicken is juicy. I can honestly say the best fried chicken I've ever had. I'mno fan of fried food so we'll its great. My wife had the Salmon and she said it was prepared better than a much more expensiverestaurant we went to just a week earlier. They have a full bar with all the classic drink and they're own cocktails. "TheFlight Attendant" was a good one. I've had a lot on their menu and never been disappointed. Its typical American cuisine but wtheir own specialties. Coll throw back small airport feeling with cool model planes hanging from the ceiling. Read more
