We stopped while passing through Salem. We had a very tasty lunch. We tried the Saag Paneer, Shahi Paneer, Butter Naan and... Garlic Naan. The food was great. Portions were very much sufficient. They even threw in some Indian pickles and onions,something that we usually eat along with such kind of food. They were very hospitable in also offering me some Indian tea whilewe waited on our food, while in the cold and rain that was upon us. The people running this food cart were very sweet andfriendly. They're from Punjab, India and you can tell that they were great at their skill coz the food was authentic dhabastyle. Loved the whole experience. Would definitely recommend this for Indian food if you're in the area. Read more
Very authentic Indian food. Best biryani I've had in many years. A tad pricey, but servings are large enough to split.
One of my favorite places to stop!! Located near the truck entrance to Pilot Travel Centers, this place is an amazing place for... truckers to stop. Absolutely amazing, and authentic, Indian cuisine with complex and spicy flavors. Many foods to choose fromon their expansive menu. Every time my wife and I drive through here...we get excited and have to make a visit. I have almosttried everything on their menu...and everything was amazing...I've even had the pleasure to try some off-menu things that wereout of this world. I'm A Professional Driver and I frequent this spot. When I am tired of the Carl's jr and taco bell I walked over to Bright... Indian Food. Right behind the Pilot truck stop. It's very clean there's covered seating so you don't have to sit and eat out inthe sun or go back to eating your car. The people are really friendly very nice the food is always very clean very fresh andcooked to order. Husband and wife team very nice people.
