I love this place! Not only are the employees super sweet and helpful but the food is just to die for. I wish I knew about this... place sooner! We decided to stop in and support them since it?s AWESOME that they require proof of vaccine in order to dine in. The food was... nothing short of amazing. The service was polite and super friendly. They messed up my sons sandwich (mistakes happen!) but weresuper apologetic and fixed it ASAP. They even gave us the messed up one to bring home at no additional charge. Great breakfast! Crisp bacon and hash browns; eggs were super and the rye marble toast was so good. Will make it a regular stop.... Really appreciated that they required proof of vaccination to eat there during the COVID pandemic. Read more
As a professional chef for over 15 years I am not easily impressed. 75% of the time when dining out, I'm disappointed in the... meal that is produced because it lacks the number one ingredient, Passion. Well not at Black Sheep Cafe. It is written allover the plate. The portion, quality of ingredients and flavor combinations are all excellent. Prices by today's standards areextremely reasonable. I enjoyed everything I had. The Reuben with fries, a harvest style salad and biscuits and gravy. Allwere excellent. Can not wait to try the chicken fried steak. My parents live in Salem and they have been raving about the food and service. We came in today for brunch and couldn't be... happier with the experience! I had the salad with chicken, apple, candied nuts and goat cheese. This was absolutely delicious.My son had a burger with onion rings and my parents had some awesome specials. All of the food was scratch made and oh so tasty.The service was prompt and attentive. 100% I will be back next time I'm in the area. Read more
