Reviews for Awesome Indoor Playground Salem in Salem, OR
Very great place for your kids to play. They have a toddler area and a bigger kid area. However, they do not supervise the... height requirements for the toddler area and there are always bigger kids in there causing chaos and running over the littlerpeople. There are signs that say "must be under this height to play" and "No throwing toddler blocks" but as I said there is noone to enforce it and the other parents frown upon you providing enforcement to their children. Alcohol and Food is available.Couches and tables and chairs. No special type of socks are required so your own socks work well. There is an air filled spot tobounce on. A handlebar zipline. Several tunnel slides. Wave Slides. An area to ride a sk8 board type toy where the train used tobe. Food is meh. Woman's restroom has 1 changing table in handicap stall. I imagine the mens room does too. Parents are allowedto assist a stuck child down from equipment but that is all. My husband had to go rescue our toddler a few times today becausethere wasn't staff working the climbing equipment like normal and he was scolded. So just be careful because they assume you areplaying instead of helping a child down. We usually always have a good time. I recommend trying it. Read more
The grandkids had a blast. It was clean and the visibility was decent. Easier to keep an eye on them than in some of the other... similar places. There was plenty of seating for the adults. When I asked for a rag to clean a table a very polite young man cameright over and cleaned it. The food and drinks are within reason and they have adult beverages. There are also several TVs towatch. Very warm inside, but expected with many kids running around. Toddler area is a decent size but older kids run in and out and... none of the staff say anything. Last time we went, the padding on the floor looked/felt dirty. But overall had a good time. Read more
We took my youngest there for her 1st birthday and they said they didn't have all the pieces to build the soft train anymore,... but we built this borrowing their instructions. They've also added books since our last visit, but I didn't see any in Spanish. Read more
Showed up for a birthday party and the staff had no idea what was happening. They double charged the woman organizing the... birthday party and then realize what had happened, they reimbursed her more than they had charged. Food was really expensive,$2.50 for a bottle of water, and I was surprised at how much information they needed to ?sign the waver? and how long it took.It was ridiculous. That, and how little protection they have on the beams around the play area. We won?t be coming back, we?llgo to other playparks in Salem. Read more
Went 11.20.21 at about 6pm. Would I go again probably but not out of my way for again. Went with my 18mth old a friend and her... 15mth old. Staff was friendly. Found out that adults are not allowed onto the bigger kid side unless emergency - stuck orcrying. On the toddler side it has lots of foam blocks, a small climbing structure to a slide, a tunnel and some busy boards onthe wall. Enough to keep my very active year and a half old baby busy for 20 minutes. There are a couple tables by the toddlersection. It would be nice if the toddler section was gated so the kiddos can't run away. It would be nice if there were morethings for the toddlers to climb. My toddler wanted to go on the big side and the amount of anxiety I had not being able to walkup there with her hurt my heart. There is a net with a hole to crawl up through I was worried she would fall through but sheliked the things on that side much more. I had boneless wings and loaded tots they were delicious but a little pricey. There isalso a blue jumping blob to bounce on, the toddlers liked it when the big kids weren't bouncing them too high. Went today for our toddler to play - she's almost 2 and had so much fun - then we all ate lunch there after (there's a few... booster & high chairs available). The staff were always kept busy but were all so friendly and helpful. Clean place, big areafor bigger kids to play then a toddler area in the back corner where a parent can accompany (both wear socks)! Lots of seatingand tables/chairs, multiple tv's in the front area if someone wants to watch one of the programs. Huge menu selection and thefood was so good! Also a happy place to be with the sound of kids having fun. :) Read more
Honestly it was not a warm family vibe at all. We try to go to a different indoor park every month and this one was biggest... disappointment.. Just not a fun vibe at all. Felt like it was just thrown together very cheap and they definitely dont domaintenance upkeep or sanitize! So of course adults weren't aloud on the structure. Would of been nice if they told me thatbefore. My son is 2 and wanted me to play but literally everywhere you turn there is a poster with a new rule, adults not aloudon structure, no toddlers on jump pad, no running, have to be a certain height to go in toddler section, no climbing, itsliterally in your face at every turn and entrance of the play structure. This is also the first one I have been to with nomusic for kids. My son had fun in the toddler section but definitely won't be coming back. *The picture is of junk just throwninto one of the clear spots in the play structure. If you need storage space I get it but could do better at presentation.* Read more
