Lovely lunch experience in this little place, relatively new to the area. It's an order and pay at the counter, they bring it to... your table, kind of place. Few tables, widely spaced. Omg I can?t say enough about this place! Absolutely LOVE their food! They have the best tortas and tacos!!! A must try! Update... ???? I been there too many times in a week ???? I tried their Pozole and was AMAZING! Also their tacos and the salsa they giveis bomb! THE BIRRIA TACOS ARE SOOOO GOOD as well! My son loves the chicken fingers and fries! First time eating at this restaurant. One word delicious! Order the Carne Asada plate. I loved everything, but my favorite was... the jalapeño salad dressing. I can't wait to return. Tepeyac Cocina Mexicana is a MUST TRY! This place is truly a hidden gem! The birria tacos are to die for ! As well as the... chorizo tacos and quesadilla burrito , everything down to the chips and salsa are made with love ! We left not one crumb behindand even ordered some tacos to go for dinner! So...tough, really I'd give a 4.5 if I could, because they're right between a four and a five, but they're definitely not a five... imo, and not quite a 4.9 overall I don't think. It's good, tasty, and pretty decent value. They had a lot of the right toppingingredients and sauces and overall it was quite good. Read more
Tried this place for the first time because I saw they had birria, which for some reason is hard to find around here. So... delicious! Not like other places where the consommé is flavorless and greasy. Even the rice and beans are perfectly seasoned!I've now had tacos from them twice this week. My only advice is do not pay for chips and salsa. The salsa is very good but thechips are cold, not salted, and extremely stale! All in all, don't hesitate to try this place! Read more

If you are in Salem, make sure you go to this restaurant! Moderately priced with a ton of options and huge portions, this place... is a hidden treasure. We ordered meals and a side of guacamole and chips. The guacamole was made fresh and so delicious thatwe ordered a second serving. My vegetable fajita was fantastic and everyone in the group loved their meals. The place is smallwith just a few tables and not fancy at all. Most people were ordering takeout. We ate there and the staff was fantastic. Weordered at the counter and the food was brought to our table. I definitely recommend it! Read more
