Great service especially considering how packed it was! Delicious food and drinks. They even have Jell-O shots (although we... didn?t partake). The ribs could have been a little more fall of the bone - but that is a minor complaint. The hot BBQ saucewasn?t that hot but packed with amazing flavor. Absolutely delicious! Got the brisket plate and Mac and cheese and collard greens. Brisket was well smoked and tender but not to... the point that it falls apart. Mac and cheese was deliciously cheesy. The collards could've used a little vinegar in my opinionbut it was definitely not bad. The sauces are also very well done. I tried a sampling of the hot, mustard, and original and theywere all great. Service was speedy, which was a relief because there is almost always a large amount of people outside. We stopped in today for lunch. This place is always busy, but they keep it moving. Staff is very friendly and always willing... to answer any questions. We both had a brisket sandwich, one chopped and one sliced. Very tender and juicy. The sauces arevery good as well. If you on St. Simons, you need to stop and try some great BBQ. Read more
Good barbecue and chicken tenders on the Island. It doesn't look like much but it's a fun experience and good food. Check times... on line before you go. I thank we went on a day one time before and they were closed. So just check to make sure. Enjoy! Read more

Stopped here for lunch on my Cross Country. Landed in KSSI and its a little ways up the road. Walking distance. The place was... pretty full and the selection was pretty standard for a BBQ place. I had the Sampler with three meats, Brisket, burnt ends, andthe ribs. Sides: Brunswick stew, Mac and Cheese, and hush puppies. Brisket slices and ends were phenomenal. Not a singlecomplaint. The ribs were a little dry but very tasty. The Mac and cheese was pretty good and the stew was ok. I think I'll getthe collard greens next time. Hush puppies were fresh and a little heavy (dense comes to mind). The atmosphere was very livewith all the Christmas decorations. 10/10 for the service while being so busy. Def worth the detour if you get the chance and Ican honestly say I haven't had BBQ that good in a long time. Read more
Rode here for the afternoon to see what it's all about. Having lived in TX, their pulled pork is pretty good, ribs were kind of... dry, but flavor good. Liked the chicken, okra was great, bbq beans could be better, and mac n cheese was alright. The staff wasnot friendly, so took off one star for service.
