The food was not that good the pictures looked great. But If I?m paying 24 bucks for a pasta dish I would like them to at least... use real garlic and not dump an entire bottle of garlic powder in my sauce. They asked me if I wanted blackened chicken, I saidI did but they forgot my chicken (I didn?t say anything but they managed to remember when we were already eating and brought mesome plain chicken). My husband ordered a drink never came by to ask if he wanted another or even refill our regular drinks. Finally my husband got up to ask for a refill. I would?ve understood if the house was full, but it definitely wasn?t. Then myhusband had to get up again to ask for the check, when he did the server called him buddy, it bothered my husband consideringwe?ve both worked customer service for years and we would never think to call a paying customer ?buddy.? Our server could haveasked us if we needed anything but I mean she seemed busy talking about someone at the counter something about someone notreturning her email, text, or voicemail. Another server brought us our check, and she handed our check to our original server. She managed to charger us at least. My husband was about to tip zero, our check was 66 bucks, I talked him out of that he saidI?m not paying her more than 6. We usually tip really well like 20%+ never less than that regardless of the food. Long storyshort food was not that great but we were starving we had walked around and were at a near by book store so we hit up thisplace. Service was bad too I mean the people outside seemed to be taken care of fairly quickly, I guess sit outside if you wantto try this place. Read more

They have cheap drinks during the evenings and have live music which is cool. Food-wise, a hard pass. Nothing special about the... calamari and the shrimp and grits are not the ?award winning grits? they advertise on their menu. We ate the shrimp and left thegrits which were so under seasoned and grainy still, so definitely not worth the entrée price. Read more

Disappointing. Our appetizers, fried calamari and a special of fried green tomatoes, were over-salted. As were all of our main... dishes. The scallops would have been delicious otherwise. They were perfectly cooked, as was the asparagus, but so salty Icouldn?t finish either. The hush puppies were very good, and the only item not overly salted. Our server was friendly andpersonable but we only saw her to take our drink order and then again to take our food order. Unfortunate considering the lovelylocation. Read more

It's rare to get great service in a decent restaurant with a large family. We were happy to see that Seagles gave our family a... great dinner with fantastic service and a beautiful water view. It was upscale food with a laid-back mood. The quality andportion sizes are well worth the prices! Read more

The food was excellent! The young lady seating, hostessing, plate running - fantastic, total professional! The atmosphere?... Sounded like a football stadium during the playoffs. We'll be back when it's cool enough to sit outside. Read more

I was brought here for my birthday and Seagles didn't disappoint. I had a special which was Blackend Salmon over carot puree... with a red wine vinaigrette reduction and it was amazing. My date and I enjoyed fried green tomatoes and muscles in a whitewhine sauce that was amazing aswell. We were treated with first class hospitality and I even got a free birthday dessert thrownin. I highly recommend Seagles restaurant and it's everything the town has built it up to be... Read more

After spending a few hours at Cumberland Island National Park/Seashore, we had dinner across the street from the dock at... Seagles. Great, hospitable staff and delicious food. They have both a dining room and a bar. I had the Bourbon Bacon Salmon withcheesy grits and a salad; my husband had the shrimp scampi, which looked beautiful and according to him, amazing! We awardedwith the fried oysters appetizer which was so good! Big, plump, juicy oysters breaded and fried to perfection. We willdefinitely return when we are in the area. Read more
