went at 5:15 on a Saturday night to try the buffet. Everything was unappealing as of it were still from lunch. I tried 3 items... and all of them were mush and had zero flavor. They have a nice Hobart well stocked with fresh food. Some places you can kinda tell it's been sitting but not here. Tables and... floor is perfectly clean but the celing needs a little bit of clean up. Men's bathroom pretty clean an in service. I like ithere. Tv isn't turned on so it's kinda quiet. Read more
Got delivery through Uber eats. It was surprisingly quick. Most of the food was good, however the packaging was terrible. It was... four large styrofoam containers smashed together. The bottoms were deformed from the heat, and there was exploded soy sauce allin the bag to top it off. The Mongolian Beef was more like pepper steak with some spice. The egg rolls were almost tasteless.The crab Rangoon was great! And the chicken lol mein and general TSO chicken was also really good. I have NEVER written a bad review in my life, until now. This was the worst meal I have ever eaten in my life, with the... exception of my mother?s liver! The food was cold, mushy and unrecognizable! How can you screw up sliced watermelon? Thewaitress never checked on us even though the place was empty! Go anywhere else! This was less than a one star. 1st time here. Food was ok but like others it would be better if the buffet was bigger. The only things I liked personally was... the sweet and sour chicken and the rice. Looking like they are due for a a remodel. Family restaurant obviously. Kids arekicking around doing homework/ playing on the phone. Read more
Better than other places. The girl at the front, also seems to almost be the only employee, is a nice friendly face. The food... itself is great, served hot and with a smile. I've visited here and other local restaurants but this is the spot for Chinesefood. It's close to the movie theater so you can have a quick bite after a movie. I am most impressed by the customer service.Not only are they getting orders for delivery and pickup but they take care of everyone with the same manner. It is difficult tofind a place with good customer service and good food. I did edit this review. I felt that I needed to try various menu itemsincluding appetizers. I'm am satisfied and would recommend Golden China to locals, visitors, and our military service membersnearby. I will recommend sesame balls ... I think that what they are called. I was tired and didn't feel like driving to kingsland to China King last night. I will never make that mistake again! Ordered... the bourbon chicken combo with lo mein. Way overpriced for the portion size. Chicken was meh, bland sauce had barley any flavorand was watered down. Lo mein looked like they used a $.50 pack of Ramen noodles and tossed them in not enough sauce. Egg rollwas the smallest, saddest, most pathetic, over cooked thing I've seen in years. Nothing about the meal was appetizing and forthe price they charge I don't understand how anyone would ever go back. Read more
