We stopped for an early dinner, AJ was a good server. The salsa was very good but the chips tasted strange- we weren?t sure if... they were old, cooked in old oil or burnt. We had a chimichanga and a California burrito, both were ok, the rice was dry andcrunchy. The restaurant was clean and festive, bathrooms were ok. Great prices but the portions are way to big. I'd pay the same price for a smaller Burrito Jalisco than I received, it was good... but hard to eat and only could finish half of it. Service was pretty decent, we will return. Read more

Not busy when I came in but they lost my order in kitchen. No updates were given. When I flagged the waitress down that was... reason given 50 minutes after ordering. Spent 2 hours here total. We always get a military discount but this was all thewaitress offered. A manager should have explained before we checked into it. I have sent information to restaurant. If they makethis right by offering a redo will update the review to reflect outcome. We have come here for years. However there is 2 newMexican restaurants in town. Compa's absolutely knows how to make a masterpiece. You know a place is going to be good when they bring out the warm chips*.... The staff is absolutely amazing and courteous. Give this place a try. Read more

We are local. Used to go to Compa's quite often. Food was always delicious and service was friendly. Over the years, however,... the quality of the food has gone downhill. It is really hit and miss. Sometimes it's good, other times not so much. All of thestaff are still efficient and friendly, you will just be taking your chances with your meal. Read more

Everything about this place was on point. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The portions were more than enough. The... staff was amazing. Our server was so great with the kids. On our way out the door one of my littles spilled an entire glass ofpop. I was so frustrated. She didn't miss a beat. She came right over with napkins. When I apologized, her response was it'snot a big deal. These things happen. She helped clean up the mess with a smile. I wish I knew here name she was so awesome!!Thank you for your service. I unfortunately have to leave this review. I came in 10min until closed and respectfully asked the front staff if it was still... ok to place a order. He said yes. I quickly placed a order for a shrimp quesadilla with Spinach, onions, and mushrooms. Theorder came out quick and I checked before leaving there was nothing but shrimp and cheese on the quesadilla. When I mentioned tothe front staff he goes to the back and comes back to tell me they will give me the toppings on the side . I tell him I need thetoppings put on the quesadilla and he tells me they can't do anything the kitchen is closed. There is much more to say about theconversation bw the front wait staff but all in all I would recommend treating customers in a certain light. If you can't takeorders after a certain time then say that, but don't mess the order up and not be able to redeem yourself. I wish I knew the name of the guy who greeted us at the door because he took care of us the whole time. He made sure our teas... were full and we were happy. He was quick and efficient and even a little flirty. We were very satisfied with our meals andcouldn't finish them. I took a chance and ordered tamales. I have eaten handmade tamales made by people from Mexico and I lovedthem. Compa's tamales tasted 100% authentic. I was impressed because we had ordered off the lunch menu but it seemed like dinnersized portions. Bottom line, we will definitely be back! Read more
