Dampfwerk is unusual but in a good way. Your cocktail might feature anything from chili oil to raspberries fermented with salt.... It's great to see a craft distillery experiment and take risks (even if you may not love every drink on the menu; it's more likedating until you find The One). Their menu shows that cocktails can be so much more exciting than a martini or a gin & tonic(although you can get those here too if you're not feeling adventurous). We went on a slower weeknight and enjoyed goodconversation with our bartender, Graham. They're located in a budding "distillery district" near another cocktail room(Copperwing), but they're unique from their neighbor - Dampfwerk has a swankier vibe and higher prices. The girlfriend and I love this place. Amazing liqueurs that give their drinks such a complex and deep flavor profile. Sometimes... it's like every sip is a completely different drink. wow, this place is so nice. i felt like i walked out of a minnesota suburb and into a trendy dreamworld. the unassuming... industrial area might trick you into thinking it isn’t much but as soon as you enter you know you are in for a treat! theservice was top notch, friendly and attentive. the cocktails were phenomenal, crafted with care, and balanced perfectly. doyourself a favor and buy a few bottles for later, you won’t be disappointed! Nice to see a locally owned distellary with this quality of drinks. Had a Jägerstee Old Fashioned, a The Warren Miller, and a... Susie Chapstick. All tasted fantastic. Ambiance is awesome. Read more

Great distillery and cocktail lounge! The surrounds are unassuming; we initially thought we’d ended up at the wrong address.... But the ambience of the lounge is fantastic: cool, calm, and dark. The menu is unique and diverse, and for spring there wereseveral delightful floral cocktails. The service was fantastic: the bartenders know what they’re doing, we were always takencare of without ever feeling hovered over. We’ll definitely be back. Read more
