Food is great quality, workers are friendly, fun little seasonal place (staying open for the fall this year though!) Order at... counter and toss garbage yourself if that bothers you. A little spot in a sleepy town that's quite delicious. Order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Food was delicious... even though I asked for a medium burger and it was much more well done than expected. The beef was still moist, even being welldone, and the toppings were piled high. The buns were fresh too. Most surprising was the homemade desert pear iced tea which wasso flavorful and the everything waffle fries ("everything" seasoning , not loaded fries like I had thought, but still great). Wewere too full to try for dessert but everyone around us seemed pleased so I'd go back for it. Definitely worth stopping at whenin the area. Read more
It?s a cute little seasonal place. Food is good and you get nice size portions. The place is always clean and the staff is... nice. After dinner or anytime just drive up and get a soft serve or hard ice cream. Read more
The building is really clean and tidy. Careful on the parking, if you park in the front of the building youre gonna be backing... into the road to leave be aware. The staff is super nice, pick your own table is convenient. They need some more description onthe menu since the good my table ordered had things on the food that weren't stated. A little expensive but all and all a niceplace. Read more
Took my mom for lunch. She had a Mexican Hot and I had a hamburger salad. We both enjoyed our meals. Efficient ordering... procedure, especially during this time of staffing issues. You order your food at the counter and you are given a placard thatyou place at your table. Your meals are then delivered to your table. Read more
Stopped by here in September 2021 while we were staying at Crystal Grove and we were hooked. We made the trip again April 24th... to mine herkimer diamonds and came back 3 days in a row. Food is FANTASTIC, staff is AMAZING, and the restaurant itself isabsolutely beautiful. I wish my house looked this nice. They were super accommodating and understanding of our two littlecrazies (toddlers), our intense mining dirtiness, and it was all around a wonderful experience. The owner recommended a couplegreat local businesses to check out (which were fantastic btw) and our three year old made great friends with one staff memberin particular, Maddie. If you are in the area, def check this place out. The specials menu is incredibly forward thinking and onpar with big city restaurants, add in a down home feel, minus the elevated price tag and city vibe. I continue to be blown away by the quality of food in central NY/Mowhawk valley. Fresh ingredients, comfort food, great locally... sourced "homemade" ice cream. This place is truly another gem. Definitely worth a stop. Read more
