Overall good experience, tried a bunch of things. Everything was good, no complaints but nothing stands out as great though.... They have a good drinks menu too. We had a late lunch so place wasn't that crowded and we got served fast. Plenty of parkingspaces and most times you can just walk in but during holidays the odds are you won't find a place without a booking. How does one mess up fish & chips? I don't know, but it certainly happened to us, X2. Both orders of fish came with soggy fish... batter. So, either my fish was undercooked, or it sat somewhere where it could get damp. Sent back, and did not reorder. Simplepub order. Should be easy. Read more

Update to review, conversations with the GM of this restaurant did got well at all so I have changed my 2 start review to a 1... star. Extremely disappointed in a venue I use to love frequenting, to bad really. Well as a department at the SJRH we attemptedto get take out as we have so many time before from Britt's Rockwood yesterday, the man that answered the phone refused to takeour order stating that they aren't a 'take out' restaurant. I was honestly shocked I still can't believe that our order wasrefused. I guess Britt's has gotten so big it is now able to refuse orders from regular faithful customers. Job not well done. Last year, we ate here and it was awesome ! But since, something has changed and it's very disappointing. All the meals was too... much salty. Poutine was not the sam, something changed in the poutine and there was not enough gravy. Fried Pickles was too bigin size of pickles. Tacos was too salty and fried chicken didn't taste anything except salt. In general, a big big bigdisappointment for us when last year we though we found THE PLACE...but now it's a no for us. A 5 Star level Pub and Restaurant tucked away in a peaceful location near the Golf Course. The ambience, service and food... variant were amazing. The food was top class, we tried a few from the menu and the taste and presentation was amazing. The hostwere welcoming and quick with their smile and feedback being icing on the cake. We went to Britt's for lunch. It wasn't busy and the service was great. The food was delicious. I had the PB and J burger with... a salad. It was a 9/10. It could have been a bit bigger but was juicy and fresh. My daughter had the fingers and fries andloved the fries. 10/10 on the fries. My wife had the burrito bowl. Read more
