Reviews for Mackinaw Pastie & Cookie Co in St Ignace, MI
Delicious pasties and nice, creamy cole slaw. Excellent hospitality and customer service. I prefer my pasty with gravy, but I... decided to give ketchup a try. The ketchup wasn't terrible, but I'll stick to gravy. We didn't have any cookies or dessert, butit all looked very good. We washed our excellent dinner down with some icy cold fountain drinks. We caught them on a good nightand the cole slaw and fountain drinks were on the house... that's the hospitality and customer service I was talking about. Wewere at the St Ignace location which closes during the winter months. Their restaurant in Mackinac City is open year round for anice pasty fix whenever you need one. Read more

This was our first Pastie experience! I had the beef pastie and my husband had the chicken. We also got the gravy. They both... were delicious and the pastry flakey. I'm not sure how they compare with the others in the area, but we enjoyed them. Staff wasnice. They ran out of cookies, so I can't speak on those. Read more

First time Pasters here. We tried the traditional beef and the beef stroganoff. Both were good although we liked the stroganoff... better. These reminded us more of hash wrapped in pastry than a pot pie without the pot. Each came with slaw which was good butdifferent from what we are used to. It had a creamier texture and tasted like it had a hint of horseradish. We liked it. Themeal also came with a cookie. The cookies were great. Nice and chewy without being too sweet. Read more
