The casino part was nice. Very clean, they allow smoking in the casino , but I didn't think it was terrible. Wasn't very busy,... we had dinner in the restaurant, service was par, she never came back and asked how our food was. Food was par at best as well.We were the only table in there. I think service needs to step it up and be more friendly, even the northern rewards lady thatgave us cards when we walked in wasnt friendly at all don't think it takes much to smile and say hello. Always a fun place to stop. I like the little RV area. Affordable with 30amp hook up and water during open season. Dump... station on way out. Casino has a few places to eat and free soda/coffee areas in players sections. Read more
Great place to get away with my wife. We generally have decent luck up here. I am able to have a nice beverage and smoke a cigar... while she plays. Having worked in the gaming industry for 13 years I don't usually play but I can still play for awhile on a fewbucks on the automated blackjack tables. Also the deli has great snack foods for those late night cravings. Read more
We stopped going this past winter. After a few trips up had a room in the Soo and we just decided to come home. Something had... changed and we decided not for us. I cross the bridge quit a bit for work and friends and had heard Things had changed, couplefriends had been going. Been in two weeks in a row now Not sure what they did, but not the depressing place we left. Workershappy and smiling, Lots of people enjoying themselves, food was dam good as a matter of fact. This Casino used to be one of our favorites. The last one that actually took coins and paper money. That changed quite awhile... ago. They still paid out every so often, enough to at least keep you interested. I honestly feel all the Michigan Casino's usedto pay out more often. I also feel this was to get many people hooked on going to the casino, and winning sometimes. I also feellike they have all tightened their payouts, and most people don't win anything anymore. It's a shame, because we used to reallyenjoy this place. You can't expect to win every time you go to any Casino. But you shouldn't expect to lose every time, either.My opinion...... Read more
It?s a casino, don?t expect to win much. Play for fun and you will have a good time. We gambled a couple of hours two nights... and left with $50 less than we came with. The casino was clean, the staff friendly and the grounds beautiful. Read more
Nice small sized casino. It was very clean. The buffet area was lovely but closed. The grounds are beautiful. The bar was pretty... cool and they had a live band playing that wasn?t awful! They have a small gift shop that has some really cool stuff for sale. Read more
just spent the weekend at Kewadin Hotel St Ignace. it was delightful looking out at the water and reading 100 pages of Jordan... Peterson's 12 Rule for Life. the room only $140/night this time of year. food was delicious, live band entertaining, servicewith a smile. beautiful Christmas decorations inside and out. had the pool and hot tub all to myself and a great time at thetables laughing with a nice group from Lansing.
