Had a lovely tasting here; each wine was specifically paired with a small bite of food, which made for a fun and unique... experience. Despite the fact that he was assisting multiple groups, our tasting host Luis was engaging and attentive. There wasa personal touch that was missing at some of the larger wineries in Napa. Plus the wines were excellent. Would definitelyrevisit VGS on another trip to the area. Read more
Gotta love a wine tasting room that feels like a candy store. They don't always have a petite sirah on the tasting menu or for... sale, but when they do you must buy it. I bought a few bottles without being able to taste and was devastated when they weresold out the rest of the way. Don't pass the opportunity up, buy their reserve when it's available or you will regret it. Read more

VGS came recommended to us by family friends to stop at on our honeymoon. Great atmosphere, DELICIOUS wines, and impeccable... service. Anthony was our host. He was knowledgeable and had a personality to boot. They do not pressure you to join the wineclub, which is appreciated. He even made some dining suggestions to us for our trip.
