Reviews for George's Corner Restaurant in St. George, UT
I must admit I was a bit disappointed with my recent visit to this establishment. While only in the area for a short time I... decided to give this place a try. The food I feel is kind of on the basic side, nothing to write home about. It was alright andserves its purpose for that evening. We went during the week and encountered a little wait (10-15) minutes. Our server Danielwas very pleasant. And the atmosphere is nice with ample spacing between tables/guests. I can't say this is on the top of mylist but I wouldn't say it's a complete loss. Based on ratings/reviews I think I went in with my expectations to a certain leveland expected better. Read more
Good place to stay. Fresh and build-your-own burgers, wide selection of tapped and bottled beer and a nice and friendly girl who... served us (unfortunately I don‘t remember the name, but she was in a good mood and helpfull). The burgers were on the point(medium as ordered) and fresh. Nothing to complain about! We‘ll come back again surely. Read more
The environment was good and our server was great but the food was not my favorite. We got the fried calamari as an appetizer -... the breading had a cornmeal base but fell off when trying to pick up a piece of calamari. The sauce they served with it was goodbut a little sweet for me. The buttermilk fried chicken was juicy but the batter they had used wasn't crispy. It was fried butwas tough and chewy. The sides were amazing though! The fried were thin and crispy. The Mac n Cheese was my favorite part. Itwas creamy and freshly homemade. The only way they could have made it better would be to add crumbles on top instead of slightlymelted cheese. Read more
George’s Corner is like an America burger house/pub. You have a wide selection of cocktails, spirits, beers, wines etc. The... food wise, traditional burger, sandwiches, ribs, wings. We order the lamb burger, definitely something different. Every bite, you get a mouthful of lamb, with some kick from the onion. To make things better, the lamp paddy just flows with juice. The ribfalls of the bone for sure, but I personally think it is a bit tough, not super tender. But the taste is great, no bad overall. There are only a handful of places open late in Saint George, George’s Corner is one of them. If you are looking for alate dinner, here is the place. Read more
This place has a lot of advantages. First of all, it is open late. And second it allows to take dogs on the patio, which is nice... for dog owners. Everything we ordered was quite delicious, the products were fresh. The portions are manageable, and the beer ispretty good. The waiter came to check on us frequently and seemed quite attentive overall. Read more

Definitely recommend checking this place out! Passing through St. George after a snowy day on the Mountain. Stopped by this... place and it did not disappoint! I rarely do a five star rating, simply because there is always room for some improvement. Theseguys provided fantastic food and an excellent experience! The food was good all the way around. We are a family of 5, everyoneenjoyed it. Not the normal cookie cutter type restaurant. If you follow me you know we love finding places like this. Read more
Fun, lively atmosphere with comfort food and craft beers from Zion Brewery. Great value and portion size but standard flavor.... Fried chicken is a bit overcooked, very hard skin and could be a bit juicier. Pretzel bun for the tri-tip steak sandwich is anice pairing. Good range of appetizers to nibble with drinks. Read more
