The chips and salsa were the tell ... This was gonna be good food ???? The food was excellent ... It's almost always those... small-town style restaurants that have the best flavor and quality food! (Coming from Tampa, FL, where most is big box andbrand). And the waitress was so nice, needed no pen/pad to take our 4-person order with substitutes and appetizers ... She wason it! Will definitely keep this place in mind any time we are passing through SC! *Photo proves, no morsel left behind LoL Read more

My son and I went on a road trip the 4th of July holiday weekend. After driving for three hours, we started looking for a place... to eat. You may not believe this , but we followed a billboard advertisement for this restaurant from the highway. We pulled into the parking lot not really sure what to expect, but that is part of the fun of a road trip. We were pleasantly surprised tofind a friendly, decent Mexican food place on the road that is more like a mom and pop restaurant and not a franchise. It wasnice to feel the AC on a very hot day. My son really enjoyed his margarita to help to cool down just from the walk from the car. A point to note, there are two larges bigger than this one on the menu. The food was pretty good, and we truly enjoyed our timehere. The staff was friendly and courteous. They answers all of our questions. We had so many questions due to the very, verylarge menu selections. I would suggest that there are too many options on the menu. I would reduce the menu down to a smallernumber of options as it just creates confusion and longer decision times. If you find yourself on the road or a local to thearea, please stop by here. From my personal perspective, I hope the road trips do not die because of high gas prices or theonset of electric vehicles. Our road trip was truly enjoyable and to visit these types of places makes it even better. Read more

A little town with a Mexican restaurant. Walked in and it was busy! That says it all. Food was great! Service was ok, drinks... were ok but let's say it definitely wasn't a free pour situation. I thought I was drinking a virgin version at first. Willdefinitely come back if ever I'm driving thru again for the food. It tasted like home cooking and reminded me of visiting mygood friend. Highly recommended! Based on their location, you can?t go wrong with going to this restaurant. Their menu is extensive, lots of... items including cocktails and desserts. My husband had the #14 special, which consisted of an enchilada, a tamale and a burrito,I had their chicken soup and it was delicious! My husband enjoyed his food as well. Good customer service! ???????? Read more
