Reviews for Burro Loco in St Francis, MN
I was really rooting for this place and it was just a few little things that added up when we noticed a card fee use on the... bill. The bill was $37 so it's not like the $5 min. use. The food was ok but I'm not rushing out for $12 burritos again anytimesoon. Read more
The food is average. Which is on par compared to other businesses in St. Francis. I had the chicken burrito, and split churro... bites with my wife. If Chipotle was a 10, I'd rate this a 6. There was too much rice, seriously give less rice and keep theother stuff the same amount and you'd be alright! Aside from that there wasn't any flavor to it. It came with their own cup ofsalsa which was nice, but it seemed very watery. The churro bites had good flavor and seemed very authentic. Overall the priceseemed okay not too expensive. I wouldn't outright recommend the place, but its a good local alternative to McDonald's or Pizza. Read more
This is my 3rd time trying Burro loco and first time trying their quessabirria tacos. For $18 I expected them to be much better... than what I received. The only flavor I tasted was cheese and the au jus is literally au jus, not consommé which is what issupposed to be with birria. I ordered for to go and by the time I had opened it the top for the au jus had melted off and gottenall over the container. I also got the chips and salsa with a side of queso. The salsa lacks heavily in any flavor and or spice. The queso is the only thing that was worth my $30 order. Needless to say I?ve learned my lesson and will not be returning. Read more

Really great, fresh food. The pineapple salsa shrimp tacos are excellent, as high quality as anything you can find in the... Cities. Fast service. A little pricier than your average taco place, but you get what you pay for. Read more
Clean restaurant, comfortable seating, friendly staff. Music was playing, they had self serve fountain soda with all options... avail plus the traditional bottled options. Interesting they offer both burgers and tacos, in addition to gourmet fries, burritos, nachos, quesadillas and bowls. Good menu variety. Street tacos were authentic as they should be. Meat tasted goodto me, ingredients all fresh. Big portions on everything. No skimping on meat or fries or anywhere else. That?s rare thesedays with supply chain and inflation. For a restaurant in St Francis serving this type of food, I think they?re doing a greatjob. I suggest we support them and give it a try. We will be back for sure. Read more
We visited on a Tuesday for lunch. From outside -couldn?t tell if open or not - on sign on /off hard to tell from parking lot (... not illuminated or very very low light or not on?)Noticed approx one other party seated in the restaurant. Didn?t seem toobusy. Upon arrival music was not playing? it was very awkward how quiet it was. We ordered two different meals one was reallypretty good ( burger and dirty fries) (the other- tacos.)Tacos: surprisingly bland as if they didn?t add enough salt- The tacomeat was quite tasteless , not savory which was actually quite a disappointment -pretty bad( was looking forward to enjoying agood authentic taco.)For the higher price paid and quality- kinda pricey. $$$?-Wanted regular Pepsi or Coke - nope they out ofCoke! Choices diet Coke, or Mtn dew -or ?Really?? Served in Can - perhaps someone needs to go to grocery store and GET more -just a thought? Hoping this was just an off day for place n I will give another try on a different day of the week to see ifcook or recipe is different- fingers crossed ???? Read more
Presents like there's something good going on here.... Quite the opposite! Tortilla chips and tortillas are funky tasting almost... "doughy". Whole jalapenos in the spicy fries is a clear sign this place is far from authentic. The Spanish rice was flavorlessand not cooked thru. Queso was meh. And all of this is insanely overpriced. Suppose that's what you can expect from a Mexicanjoint in a town like st Francis. My bad! Read more
