Today was the first time we've tried Coal River Coffee Company. Their store is a nice, cozy, comfortably lit place with a good... amount of seating, a book section where you can chose from dozens (if not a couple hundred) books to enjoy while you sit downfor your coffee, as well as a few stickers and other souvenir-type things to buy. I tried an iced decaf pumpkin latte, and itwas very good, great flavor without being overwhelming with pumpkin, and smooth. Service was very friendly and fast. Very welcoming staff and owner. We both got hot chocolate, yum, made with coconut milk. I order the grilled cheese and we got... three of the the baked goodies. I cannot complain about one thing.
