Arrived on a Monday evening, 530pm. We wanted to just have a drink, maybe share an app (before our dinner reservations nearby )... . The guy who greeted us said it wasn't a bar and wouldn't take us. There was only 1 other table (a couple) in the wholeplace. Very strange. Read more
Hostess was so lovely. Welcoming, seated us at a specific table, as requested when our reservations were made online. Our... server was Claudine. Friendly, knowledgeable, timed everything perfectly so that we would enjoy a wonderful meal without beingrushed. We started with Trout Ceviche which was amazing and a crisp Cesar salad. Our mains were Mackerel Tartare and a Scallopdish. Both dishes were outstanding. Beautifully plated, prepared in very creative ways, showcasing the stars, Mackerel andScallops. With subtle but very tasty additions on the side. Philippe (who was wonderful, extremely kind, helpful andcontributed to an extremely relaxing, peaceful evening). Brilliant terrace design? Their transparent roof provides protectionagainst rain, but you are still able to enjoy the beautiful, evening sky. Comfortable seating, pretty dividers between mosttables. Wonderful evening!!! One of the best spots in St sauveur! The dishes were all delicious with an excellent mix of flavors and perfectly portioned. The... cod was so buttery it melted in your mouth, definitely our favorite. Their drink selection was also great with local originalbeers and orange wines. Finally the restaurant is very cute and perfect for a date night...make sure you get a spot in the frontpatio! Read more
Lovely little gem in the Laurentians, restaurant is nice and cosy (tables a little close to each other), staff was amazing, food... was great, I had pasta and it was most probably in my top 5 ever, partner had the halibut, she said it was good, but a littlebland. Wonderful service and great view of church on terrace. Our waiter named Mathieu was impeccable and friendly. Our entrées were... superb: beets with honey and feta and tender squid with popped rice with cashew sauce= both delectable. My bavette de boeuf wascharred but good with its bearnaise sauce. Two other sauces were a bit too sour. His veal was a bit too hard to chew but thewaiter didn't hesitate to replace it by another dish. Instead he had the broadsword (espadon) which was tender and had a beefyor steaky consistency like tuna with a fresh coriander sauce: delicious! The grilled veggies were succulent and all dishes werewell presented (see photos). Our dessert was the artisanal lavender ice cream that had a pleasant flavour but could have beensweeter. All in all a pleasant experience in our hometown of Sauveur. Read more
