We went to visit a couple friend and they told us about this restaurant because we are from Togo ???????? as well. My husband... and I decided to check it out. OMG! ??Tout d'abord l'acceuil était exceptionnel! ???? Le propriétaire/chef était souriantacceuillant. On avait l'impression d'avoir rendu visite à un oncle. ?Now on to the food: we ate prior to going out so we werenot there for the food but we wanted to check the restaurant out. We go some finger food: alloco, potatoes, kaklo and pastels.They were accompanied by the house ginger mayo ???? The food was so fresh and so good. ?The place super clean as well. ?Andfinally, you gotta wash the whole thing down with some ginger juice and/or hibiscus ???? juice (bissap). ????? 5 stars welldeserved. ???? tonton Georges! The person who served me was very warm and welcoming. He suggested i try the meat pastels and they were amazing. My son and i... had the coconut milk shrimp. I had chicken with soft plantains & red cabbage vinaigrette & rice. The chicken was moist, it?s skin crunchy joined by moist... rice and sweet plantains. I also had 3 meat pastels with a flavored mayonnaise. My drink, a strong ginger brew, was spicy butsatisfying. Overall, everything was very well prepared and presented. Amazing! Was going for the Exporail but surprisingly found this place! So happy to talk with George! He was patient and nice,... and he is definitely talented at making delicious food. We took his recommendation, the beef was so delicious. Wanna try theshrimp the next time! Tried the food here for the first time, it was amazing! Absolument délicieux ????. We had the salmon special combo, plantain,... beignets de lentilles, and pastels de poisson. Loved everything! I highly recommend this place. Owners were so kind, nice andpatient with my mediocre French ????. Lovely and I will definitely go again if I get the chance! The ginger beer is homemade andamazing!!! Decided to check this place out after seeing 5 star reviews. It was along our way home from Montreal back to Massachusetts. The... food was amazing and the flavors were so unique and blended together perfectly. I loved the hibiscus drink and if I didn?t havesuch a long drive back I would have bought more to bring home.
