Great vegan selections! Good, all around Chinese! Delicious, plentiful, and prepared with quality! Friendly staff. Nice, quiet... atmosphere. Newly added front window is inviting, along with recent updated menus. Just an enjoyable experience dining in ortaking out! I recommend the hot and sour soup. This place was a wonderful experience right as I walked in the door. The food was great overall and the service was amazing.
The wait staff was very friendly. The food here was really bad. I had the lunch portion Hunan chicken with fried rice. Hot and... sour soup and crab cheese wontons. None of the meal was hot temperature-wise and the Hunan sauce and soup lacked any form offlavor. Just really tepid, bland and tasteless food. I popped in because I was hungry and wanted to try it. Glad I didn?t comewith anyone else because it was really a bad food experience overall. And yes. Barely touched my heaping plate of mediocrity -replete with a shattered fortune cookie! Lol Read more
I used to love Hunan's back in the day, However now food took extremely long when I ordered take-out. Got home to find 7 of my 8... egg rolls missing. My Almond Chicken should of been called mixed vegetables because there was hardly no Chicken or almonds inthe dish and my General Chicken tasted like vinegar. However what was disappointing most was when I called to tell them theyforgot my 7 egg rolls and the lady lied to me and said that they only charged me for 1 egg roll, when I know for a fact theyrepeated the order back to me and I paid for all 8. Sad to say I will not patronize Hunan's again.???? Read more
Good food, nice atmosphere, delightful decor, easy lunch prices
Very nice restaurant with real table service. At Hunan they care about ambiance and presentation. The decor was full blown... Chinese with traditional Chinese luxury color scheme of gold walls with deep red seating with black lacquer accents. The dinningroom was almost dimly lit which set a warm relaxed intimate mood. The waiters and waitresses wore crisp white dress shirts withTuxedo bow ties. The tables were set with real white linen table cloths covered with acrylic protectors. My tea came in ateapot so I could refill my tea as I desired. I did come in at lunch time and ordered the days lunch special...as you can seefrom my pix it was a nice sized portion. It is hard NOT to compare the tremendous value of a traditional sit down lunch at fastfood pricing...same price as a fast food lunch but with table service....drinks refilled at your own table and freshly preparedfood just for you... Food is not as good as it used to be, prices have gone up quite a bit. Just so, so. The service was good, friendly staff.
