I had the 3 meat plate. 2 servings of the chopped pork, 1 of the chicken, and my 2 sides were garlic red skin potatoes and the... baked beans. The service was great, but the food was not what I was hoping for. The chopped pork had a lot of fat in it, and washeavily salted. I am visiting from GA, and no self respecting southerner would be embarrassed to serve this as chopped pork. Thechicken was dry and almost like jerky, hard to chew, and very hard to separate into bite size pieces. The beans looked like andtasted like doctored up pork n beans from the can. We used Famous Dave's catering for a retirement party at our home this past weekend (40 guests). Prior to the event,... communications with the catering staff were detailed, professional and very responsive. I'd send an email and a response wasusually received within 15 minutes of sending). I even had a last minute change increasing my guest count two days prior andthey were very accommodating. Delivery/Set-up on Saturday was on time and they had everything we needed to set up the buffettable- ready to serve and eat! I didn't have to do anything but, pay the bill and enjoy our day. The food was fabulous! Ourguests couldn't stop raving about how good it was. Besides the great BBQ meat, the mashed potatoes and cornbread were the hit ofthe party. I thought a fight was going to breakout over who was getting the last cornbread muffin. LOL! I thought their priceswere reasonable and affordable for a catered event. Definitely worth it for the enjoyment our guests received because let's faceit, food is what makes an event most memorable. We would definitely use Famous Dave's catering again. If you are looking tocater an event, I'd highly recommend using them. Read more

I absolutely love Famous Dave’s. The meat is always flavorful and juicy. The corn muffin is just the right amount of sweet and... buttery. The beans are spicy but delicious, I love spicy food. However I wasn’t a fan of the Mac and cheese, it wasn’tunbearable to eat. It’s just personally not what I prefer for my taste buds. The bread pudding is also amazing and worth everypenny. It you want a nice bbq lunch or dinner packed with favor and fresh, you should definitely give them a try! Read more

The 3 meat meal was very filling with leftovers for home, which included pulled pork, beef brisket, rib tips, 2 sides and a corn... muffin. The wait was a little longer than anticipated, but the food was very tasty!!! Staff was friendly, server was attentive.The (non-alcoholic) strawberry lemonade was pleasing and refreshing, leaving me wanting more! I highly recommend this familyfriendly/fun restaurant. Read more

Very pleasant! Went in for an early lunchtime a little before noon. The atmosphere is welcoming, the radio MOSTLY isn't... terrible, and the staff is excellently friendly. Our waitress in particular was very relaxed, warm-hearted, and genuinely fun totalk with. I was very impressed with her (though I missed the name). Definitely tipped above the usual percentage I give. Ofthree in my party, one of us wasn't happy with her dish after what she had anticipated on the menu, but the other two of us ateevery bite, and it was JUST a tad too much food (which, honestly, is perfect). No shortage of flavor, no flavors got old. Theonly real cons as opposed to pros would be the radio and that the menu says "fries", but they actually have wedges. Good exampleof those things where "communication is subjective," but the terminology is meant to be consistent for clear communication.Still, not a big deal. They were good. Just not listed correctly. All in all, if they'd eliminate the occasional misery on theradio, easily five stars. I'll see this place again in the future! ???? Read more
