Chips were stale, salsa good, and service was good. I ordered the burrito and enchilda combo, as did my husband. Pretty much... just a little green pepper and tiny bit of cheese, not melted, and tough shredded chicken. The sauce is the same over both,which is quite good. Guacamole was excellent! From the outside, the place looks like hell. Run down, you can barely see the name of the place and the windows are covered with... decals. I second guessed myself coming in here for dinner, but I was half dead from starvation and heat stroke was setting in,so I had to get something in my system before it was to late. Place is colorfully decorated and the menu has tons of options.They have lunch specials during the week here too. I went with the Petito Tacos, which is 3 deep fried tacos with rice andbeans. Oh, and they charged me 50 cents for an extra side of sour cream. REALLY?!?!?!??!?! Food was really good but the pricewas crazy. I didn't even have an alcoholic drink and it was $20!!!!! Authentic Mexican cuisine with a bright and cheerful atmosphere. The decor was pretty and fun to look at. The food was spot on... and delicious, with the stuffed peppers being the best I've ever tasted. Chips and salsa, Mmm. Staff was very friendly andhelpful. Although we waited about 45 minutes for a table (to be fair, there were 10 of us), it was worth the wait. The food was quick to... arrive, the chips and salsa were warm and fresh in the meantime, and our waiter was friendly, skilled, and knowledgeable. Andthey were quite busy, so we were thrilled to be able to be seated. The food was very good, and we were quite pleased, eventhough we walked out feeling stuffed to the gills. Read more
