Reviews for Chan's Garden Restaurant in Saginaw, MI
Hands down the BEST egg rolls I've ever had. Chinese is my favorite food and this place serves the best Chinese.
Don't be turned away by the outside looks. This place is beautiful and clean. The food is amazing and staff was very friendly!... Our food was hot fresh and fast even though they were clearly busy. Read more
Chan's is an interesting place, but I really enjoyed my food and the owner was really nice. If you're from the tri-county area... like me you're spoiled by the need for everything to look "just so". Up in the more rural areas like where we were after goingto Mt. Pleasant things can be different. Chan's looks shabby chic on the outside, but go in anyway. It's clean, bathrooms wereclean, the food was good and reasonably priced. They offered my vegetarian daughter a vegetarian egg roll with her dinner. Youshould give it a try, you'll be glad you did. No pictures again, because we were meeting up with friends and catching up. Read more

Chans is great and have been going there since 1987 off and on .... Food is always delicious .... egg rolls can be a little too... dark for me and I have to ask for a different one but ... that being said ... they may just have THE BEST TASTING egg rollsaround. I cannot remember a bad meal there ever or a dish I did not care for. FLAVORS ARE EXCELLENT ! HOT SOUR SOUP wasalso always one of the best around. They add new things to the menu now and then and I like that ... one of the few places Ican get a BOK CHOY luncheon ! Read more
I love coming here. The food is great. I had an issue with one of my meals but they replaced it for me.
This was my first time trying this place, it was OK but not impressive. The crab cheese were stuffed and looked very appetizing,... but when I bit into one, there was an off smell and taste that I can't pinpoint and the filling was just plain cream cheese. Thealmond Boneless chicken combo had the same smell and taste as the crab cheese, leading me to think maybe it's from the fryeroil? Taste was a little bland, I had to douse the rice with extra soy sauce. Egg roll was good but saturated in oil, to thepoint the yellow oil dripped out of the bottom and onto my shirt. The saving grace of my first visit was the wonton soup! Itdefinitely didn't look like any wonton soup I've ever had, and I've been to A LOT of Chinese restaurants, but it was delicious!I had to rethink my mindset of what I expected, because this was more of a vegetable wonton soup and not traditional of otherrestaurants. Prices were fair. Workers friendly. Read more
