Was able to get seated our food in just before the kitchen closed. The waitress we had was awesome. (Wish I could remember her... name) but food was great, we had a grouper sandwich, Caesar salad, conch fritters, chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks. Beer on tap was cold and refreshing. Definitely a great place to check out if your in the Safety Harbor area. Read more

I was really looking forward to the rice bowl, but unfortunately they were out of a lot of their items when we were there. I... feel bad for their staff too. It seemed like they were trying their best, but are short staffed. The food and drinks that wewere able to get were great. If it was a better experience and full menu I would've given 5 stars. We were bar hopping around Safety Harbor, for a friend's birthday. This pretzel ???? was huge! Lol...pretty good food
Kinda tiki, mostly sports bar. Service was efficient, drinks were really good, and the food was tasty. Got there on a Sunday... afternoon and the place was busy with the baseball game on the TV's. Ordered a Main St Mai Tai then the other tiki rum drink onthe menu. Both were tasty. The spam sliders were tasty and fresh. Not sure if I'll be back... mostly because I prefer a quieterdrinking spot. I was about 45 minutes early for an appointment and decided to look around the area. This location attracted my attention so I... decided to stop in for a drink. They were busy inside and I sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and reccomended a drink.I was pleased with my rum runner, served in a cute little tiki glass. I wasn't going to eat, however, the great food smells wonme over. I asked a few questions and settled on the Fish Dip. I will definately be back for a full meal here. The dip wasamazing. Stopped in to the Tiki Tavern for Safety Harbors Restautant Week. I chose the prix fixe menu for $22. My selection was Coconut... Shrimp, Short Ribs and Beignets. Tiki's version, unlike other places, was to cut serving sizes in half for the special rate. Thecoconut shrimp were the smallest I've ever seen or had but tasted good. Their short rib was tasty and the chorizo grit cake itwas on was good. The beignets were coated in cinnamon sugar and were doughy and 2 of 3 undercooked. It is mostly a bar vibe,kind of dark inside. There is an outside bar area that is nice but hot. It will be better once temperatures cool. Read more
