Exceptional. I went with a party of 12 for a family member's birthday dinner. We had a reservation, our table was ready well in... advance, and we were seated immediately. The ambiance was reminiscent of many higher end restaurants, with dark wood and lowlighting abound. The location itself let a nice amount of light in though, providing a nice balance and a touch of warmth. Thestaff were on point, with timely refills, stately presentation, and great communication. I spoke with three different serversand all 3 could recite both menus with near perfection, along with our orders! I had the good fortune of starting off the aMinty Goose and it was delicious. A tad over-zealous with the grapefruit juice, but a good cocktail regardless. Next, I enjoyeda black widow, and that was the one I liked best. They mixed muddled blackberries with 1800 Anejo and a splash of lemon juicefor a delicious concoction. Beyond the drinks, the food was excellent. We started with a trio of wood fired pizzas, andcalamari, before moving on to the main course. Many of us sampled the Mustard chicken and were stunned by how delicious it was.The complex flavors at work all synthesize to create something utterly unique. Very tasty! We enjoyed desert at home, so I can'tcomment on their offerings. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this meal. Staff knew exactly what to do and when, and they were neveroverbearing, or hard to find. Phenomenal Italian restaurant in Sacramento The food, appetizers, and atmosphere were warm and inviting. Chef Ramón made some... great food. The Salmon, steak, angel hair pasta were all delicious. Our waitress did a great job also. I will definitely comeback here another day. Read more
Good service. Too expensive for no sides included. Skirt steak was not very warm, over cooked and sliced too thin. Garlic... Potatoes were good but also not hot ( they replaced those) cucumber salad good. My husband liked his calamari and his pizza. Read more

Great service, unfussy atmosphere and excellent food. We were passing through outer Sacramento looking for something both junky... and sophisticated. I am rating this restaurant 5 stars for the food, however, I am taking away 3 stars for the poor service. We ordered the ox tail... pasta, wagyu pot roast, and the new york steak and the dishes were great. When we entered, there was a total of five tablesoccupied at 800pm on this particular Sunday. Our server Scott seated us right away but took quite a bit of time checking in totake our orders. He never spoke to us after taking our orders. By the time we received our food there were only two tablesoccupied. He kept walking, talking and dancing around but forgot to refill our waters and never came back to check on us. Whenwe were ready to leave, he "forgot" to pack our food to go and had to have another server step in to do his job. Service plays asignificant part in the restaurant experience and I was disappointed today. Would not go back, especially as a person of color.I'm sure the couple across from us felt the same way.
