Unfortunately, I can?t do a full review as we never received any food. We were initially quoted a 10-15 minute wait for our... party of 2, which was accurate. However, once we were seated, we ended up waiting another 30 minutes without so much as agreeting. Additionally, we were sandwiched between 2 large parties that had arrived and been seated at least 10 minutes beforeus and hadn?t been waited/served. And sharing a grill with 7-10 other people wouldn?t have been fun anyway. We eventuallydecided to leave. On the bright side, we did get a cheerful salute from staff on the way out! This was most likely due toextreme understaffing, as the only three cooks were busy tending to other tables. It would benefit this establishment to hiremore staff or to just quote customers a longer, more realistic wait time upon arrival. Read more

Love the food here, plenty of vegetarian options. I get full from the appetizers: agedashi tofu and tempura vegetables

The temperature inside the restaurant was easily 80+ degrees, but overall it was a pretty decent place to stop by for some... habachi! The food was great, but it did take a while to order even though the place was not busy. Read more

Let me tell ya, since we lost out Benihana in Citrus Heights, there are some, but not quite the same atmosphere and fun. We... tried Tokyo Steak House and it is fun and delicious. Being entertained while watching our food being cooked. It is thebest. They have combinations of main dishes of meats, seafood. They grill the vegetables along with preparing and grilling thePork Fried Rice live. I give Tokyo the 5 Stars rating. Family had early dinner... place was already busy... got seated... orders were taken... it took a while before the teppanyaki... chef came over but once he did everything started rolling. Service was great, food was greasy, but nevertheless delicious andgenerously portioned. Teppanyaki chef was pleasant and efficient. Family left full and happy. Will come again. Read more

I definitely enjoy eating here! It?s an experience I won?t forget. The waitress was very attentive and the chef was spectacular.... He put on a nice show for us, even my 6 year old enjoyed it since he couldn?t stop laughing. Read more
